My husband's sister died overnight at his Aunt's house, when we had our kids he refused to let them stay at anyone's house overnight, but as they are now 15-17 he let them stay at a mutual friends house 1 time. I was a bit non understanding at first because I felt like they were missing out on girl slumber parties, but I have learned to be more understanding to how he feels. He definitely gets really scared thinking about letting them go and saying bye girls see you tomorrow and then something happens and he doesn't get to see them ever again. Breaks my heart that that happened to him and his family. ❤

I saw a story recently where a family let their daughter sleep over at their friend's house (they were teens mind you), and the Father of the girl whose house they were staying at made them "smoothies" and when one of the girls said they didn't like smoothies he pressured her into drinking it. She texted her mom to let her know that she needs help and may not be conscious when she arrives. The father was arrested and the smoothies were in fact drugged. There was I think around 4 or 5 girls there. That alone is enough to not allow my would be children to stay the night at anyone's house.

The funny thing is, the gas station test was something taught to me by my grandma. You take a girl/guy you have serious thoughts about to one and get out to pump your gas. They should offer to do so for you, or offer to clean your wind shields. You're *NOT* supposed to muk it up and complicated things by telling the person to stay in the car. You simply let it happen. @@MultiAsh93 they're not worth it you're right - but the sooner her stuff is out of my house , the sooner I can deny she had lived there : tenant law and rights are a thing and don't really care if the person is a PoS or not worth it. As long as their stuff is there and its evident they have enough stuff to be living out of there, they can claim to be a tenant or resident, and can fight being removed, legally - and force you to have to evict them so yeah i'll drop it off , happily, then change the lock if she's got a key or something and I didn't manage to get it back. Prob best to change anyway. Once her stuff is gone from my home it would just be my word vs her in me saying she didn't live there and had not lived there. But if her stuff is out front, and it looks like she was living out of it, she can call the police and claim she's being unlawfully evicted from a place she lives at - and I would have to go through the civil courts to file an eviction (15-30 days notice + 30 days to evict once the order executes in most states) . This is even if she does not pay rent and is not on the lease. Tenant law varies by state but legally she can fight if she wants to and the cops will let you know you have to give notice and go the legal route to remove her. sooner her stuff is gone from the property entirely , the better, outside the front door is not far enough away : and throwing it away can catch you a charge!

When my husband and I were dating he would pay and pump my gas and whatever I wanted to at the gas station. I was so worried about him thinking I was interested in his money(I just hate going to get gas) I would make sure I had at least 1/2 tank before we hung out. It took me 10 years into our marriage to tell him that. When it comes to most of these stories, the main thing I've learned over my years of being on this earth is that women are the directors of their own movies. The only thing is they believe everyone around them should already have the script and go with the program and there are a few times where one woman explains to another her delusion of her movie and that individual understands it to a t because they are drinking the same Kool-Aid. She said he's not used to being a leader because he didn't just pay for and pump her gas even though she said she would. She doesn't know that the best leaders ALLOW people to do to what the person being led says they're going to do. A leader doesn't stop you from doing what you said you'd do and do it themselves because if they did, they wouldn't be leading, they'd just be a worker. A leader usually has to make multiple things happen without having to physically do it themselves so it is ESSENTIAL that a leader has someone around them that can actually do what they say they're going to do. Can't be the "leader" if you're doing everything yourself and if you have someone you ALWAYS have to take over for when this person clearly always says they can do something but clearly can't, then they're not a good helper and need to be replaced. In other words, she doesn't know what a leader's job is and her test is TOTALLY wrong. I get why they screw up so many relationships now. They thing that THEY are the leader, when they're really the helper / follower that got too big for their britches and started testing the leader. The leader (men) get tired of being tested by someone who is obviously supposed to be following and let's them go. Makes perfect sense now.

My ex boyfriend used to set me up the way the gas chick did. I eventually figured out what he was doing, but I'm Amelia Bedelia when it comes to taking a person's words literally. So when he'd tell me he didn't want me to clean the kitchen and then get mad later that night because I didn't clean the kitchen, it was confusing as hell. I assumed he didn't want me to because he wanted to do it for me, but I was wrong. He wanted me to read his mind and determine he didn't really mean the words he said. It's not just women that do that shit.

I just looked up some of the prices. You can get a frontal quick weave for as little as $60 if you shop around. You might have to do some of the tail end business on your own but you're supposed to be maintaining it anyway so you're just starting to one step earlier.
