You and your Dad make things look so easy. I love your attitude and your dad's to get things done regardless of how tough they are. I'm 82 yr farmer's wife and I know how hard you work thank you

I have always appreciated those who work on my behalf, but watching your videos I have a new appreciation for the 100 trades you have to know, and the 1000 jobs you have to do, to be a farmer.

Eric you are very gentle with your cows and heifers PETA needs to see this.

Sir, You're so right about heifers and doing what they're not supposed to be doing. I detested lowering the silo. I nearly cheered when Dad started using mostly silage bags instead of the stave silos.

Great video eric. I think that it is good for people to see how a good dairy farmer treats his cows. I know these videos are extra work to make but I think that it is a good thing for farming.

That looks like a well used area, you should insulate and put siding inside.Would help keep you warm and fireproof it as well...a little heat would be nice...probably too expensive
@10thgenerationdairyman5 жыл бұрын
That would be nice, but pricey!

Hi, I was wondering if the plastic cover on the pit couldn't be rolled back each time so it can be reused, instead of cutting it. I love your videos by the way, keep up the good work.

Good luck finding a huge tarp that you can move without tearing that lasts 10 years. Especially without costing 5 figures.

Where do you get those mountain dew seeds?
@stuartluig29116 жыл бұрын
Did you know that if you pour one mountain dew into about a 1000 gallons of water that your cows would produce five times more milk.

The metal sheets should be a bit off the ground to allow water to flow and protect them from rusting.
