The issue is that it costs the Canadian government 5000$ on average to deport a person. Also there are 6 million temporary residents that will become illegal by end of 2025 and we know that most of them won't leave voluntarily. Fortunately, there’s a US Border Patrol agent on the American side since I noticed they’re wearing green uniforms! On the Canadian side, there’s a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer! Yes, I see that Canadians are required to follow the US equivalent! The RCMP should focus on other tasks by stationing Canadian Border Patrol agents or perhaps sending CBSA (Canadian Border Service Agency) staff to handle this responsibility.
