The ' character ' that Holga superimposes on these photographs, elevates the mundane to that of fine art, and these photographs are just about fine art. Very well demonstarted Mr Henson.

Beautiful photographs. I bought a Holga 120N some time ago. This is the encouragement I need to put some film in it.

Hi Martin, a wonderful example of the beautiful images that can be made using the most simple of cameras, the Holga! Keep up the fantastic work using this camera, I for one love the results.

Surprisingly good images from that camera but as we know it is the photographer that matters and your images are stunning. Did you see the TV programme about Homer Sykes visiting this location and photographing it ?

Thank you, no I missed that program

Lovely images. Have you corrected them? My Holga produces much more vignetting
@martinhensonphotography3 жыл бұрын
All I have done is increased contrast and maybe on some cropped , the Holga lens vary so much from camera to camera
@alfredbarten49014 жыл бұрын
Beautiful pictures. It shows photography transcends sharpness. Is the vignetting normal or did you add it in the darkroom or with a lens hood or ????
@martinhensonphotography4 жыл бұрын
All Holgas render differently from camera to camera, some are sharper than others, some vignette more then others, a lottery when buying one, on occasion when I think it might benefit the picture I will accentuate the vignette look , no I never use a lens hood, thank for commenting

This is how the holga was meant to be when invented. True fine art. Too many hipster hacks missing the point and just mindlessly framing everything on lomography film.
