Bei der Antwort hier von dem Post von @HolicCreation, frag ich mich eher ob dieser nicht PVC Rohre verkauft und das ein Werbevideo ist. Als wäre das jetzt so eine Weltneuheit. PVC Revolution 😂 Außerdem was für ein Genie? Hätte er besser in Physik aufgepasst, dann hätte er die ganzen Rohre zur Befüllung der Regentonnen sich sparen können und nur die erste befüllen lassen. Am Ablauf sind diese verbunden, so verteilt sich das Wasser gleichmäßig in alle Tonnen. So hab ich das gemacht und funktioniert hervorragend. Muss halt nur bissl im Physik bescheid wissen, was mich zum nächsten Punkt bringt mit den Filtersystem. Schon Mal in Physik den Spruch gehört, Wasser nimmt den Weg des geringsten Wiederstandes? Also wenn schon du hast es nicht im Video gezeigt und es so gebaut das das Wasser da durch muss, ansonsten fließt es einfach oben hindurch, ohne die Filter zu passieren

What you do or don't do is your responsibility. I deal with drinking water in my job. I live in Switzerland and drinking water is subject to food regulations here. Drinking water is a foodstuff, just like other foods. Here it is controlled according to HACCP. As soon as you are dealing with surface water, you have to know that there are germs like E-carbobacteria in the water, which can make people sick. In my opinion, you have to know that. You can have such water tested in a laboratory. As drinking water, the number of germs per litre can only have a certain limit. That is why it is disinfected chemically or with UV radiation. That is the legal requirement. I do not know what the regulations are in your country. You can do what you want. I only recommend that you point out that this system is not drinking water compliant. Or that it must be boiled first. I would therefore recommend that you protect yourself legally before you are held accountable if someone builds it and becomes ill. You can do anything with this filtered water. Just do not declare it as drinking water. This way you can certainly save water from the tap. But they reject any liability and say exactly what it can be used for. As soon as you touch something with your fingers and have not disinfected them beforehand, it is contaminated. I wanted to draw your attention to this. You know it, knowledge is power.

And where do you get water when you have a drought??....droughts can last for years....where I live, we have been under a mandatory water conservation for the past two years....this is fine for watering the garden....idk that I would want to shower in it.....and I certainly would not drink or cook with it. If all I could use it for is watering the garden, i could just set the barrel outside and remove the lid when it rains.

And with a little rain, "opening the bucket lid" cannot help you fill the tank, then you will have to struggle to carry those buckets of water to a safe place to store. That's a good idea. However, if you put the material in the filter housing that way and use it, it only works for the first time, and over time, unrefined water comes out. Even if it's annoying, you should put the material in the cartridge and use it. This changes the water flow and improves the water purification performance.

What you have created a water conservation system deserves praise. I find critical commrnts from some people to ensure pure water. But, they should know health is a concern and priority for all people. Just by quoting safety standards, they are showing off their superior attitude. They should know water conservation has many uses, drinking and non drinking purposes. A viewer talks of droughts. I ask how droughts can occur. Many reasons are there, atmosphere,water pollution , etc are important. Will these people stop using their vehicles daily, or stop using airplanes ? No it isn't mandatory and never had been - In fact all three of the eastern states made it illegal or employed stupid regulations to stop people using rainwater it was only after the millennium drought that they realised it probably wasn't a good idea to stop it NSW simply outlawed it by making you pay for the water Queensland used dengue fever as an excuse despite the fact that no one had died from dengue fever in 50 years Victoria said that they could only be one colour NSW made you put a meter on the tank because it said the government owned all the water and would charge you for the water Needless to say rainwater tanks had almost completely disappeared from the suburban areas and it was only farmers that had them

Great video. Only thing I would improve upon is that you are wasting piping on the top. you only need the pipe to enter the first barrel since you have them all plumbed from the bottom. the water levels in all of them will rise are water is added to the first barrel. In the last one you may want to add an overflow and have that water redirected somewhere else like the garden or another barrel. I would also suggest putting goldfish in the tanks as mosquito larva will grow in standing water. the goldfish will use that as its food source, so you don't even have to feed them. Always use a filter even for rainwater.

I pay my waterbill to get fresh filtered water in return. However I do feel this water should not be used to flush our toilets. So a seperated solution like yours could be the answer to not waste filtered drinking water. However here comes the First world problem: If we all would start collecting rainwater for toilet use the waterbill would not go down because filtering and treatment of our drinking water would still cost the same and this would bankrupt our whole watersystem. It's a Catch-22 situation. In The Netherlands we also have free public taps to fill our waterbottles inbetween walks. We are very privileged and should be thankful. The cooling of the roof with that sprinklersystem is genius. 👍🏻

Please check that the type of storage containers you use are safe for storing drinking water. Not all plastic is appropriate, can be made of toxic chemicals which can leech into the water and cause serious illness. There's a lot of info about this on-line. Saving rain water is good for plants and is potable but lacks trace minerals found in ground water from aquifers, rivers, lakes, etc. There's plenty info about this, too. Just do your due diligence and conserve water! If you live in any western state in the U.S. saving water is crucial. I commend everyone who is saving water!🤗

Una precisazione da tenere sempre presente: una volta si raccoglieva l'acqua piovana per traboccare le batterie al posto dell'acqua distillata, oggi le prime piogge. ( sopratutto in periodi di siccità brevi o lunghi che siano) sono molto acide per l'inquinamento, all inizio va bene per uso sanitario o usi domestici, più attenzione per cucinare molto interessante la tecnica per la raccolta delle così dette acque piovane. Where I live the water gets turned off almost every month for two to three days. So we keep 4 large 5 gallon containers of water in our house that we buy at the local grocery store. So we know we have water when it is turned off. But we go through all 20 gallons by the time the water is turned back on.
