Good work and thanks for the video. You can filter the water 100 times but using the old tubes again of the house connection you have the same bad water . It is no critic . Only a hint for the future constructors of this great idea

Nice ideas in reusing plasic although all that plastic will leech harmful chemicals over time. I think I'd like to try and make such things out of recyclable materials such as glass and copper (naturally antibacterial). More expensive, yeah but fully recyclable.

Thank you for your thoughtful comment! You’re absolutely right-using plastic does come with concerns about harmful chemicals over time. Exploring recyclable materials like glass and copper is a fantastic idea, as they are not only safer but also more sustainable. While they may be more expensive, the long-term benefits could outweigh the initial costs. Do you have any specific projects in mind using these materials? I’d love to hear more about your ideas!

Many thanks for this wonderfull educational episode. I have thu some questions: 1) Was it better to grind the coal to powder to increase its surface area and thus to make it more powerfull to treat possible biological bacteria? 2) My second question is what is rate of potable water production from your wonderfull treatment unit model? Thank you again for your effort.
@HolicCreation
@HolicCreation Ай бұрын
Thank you very much for your great question 1. For the type of coal in the video, do not grind it into powder because it will dissolve in water. For better results, use activated carbon 2, After returning to the tank, the water can finally be used, but for better results, use a black tank to avoid algae and absorb UV to increase bactericidal ability. And ensure the best at 100%: boil the water. Wishing you all good things.

Grey pvc is used for electrical conduit, black for septic and white for potable water here in the states. @@HolicCreation ,Seen a much bigger system of rain catchment for a very wealthy person in Hawaii. Worked on it and it dwarfed what you see in this broadcast, I see alge as the main problem with his system. You still need, "Hydrogen Peroxide" to kill the alge that will eventually become a green slime in the system, that will grow and cause bad tasting water. All the sinks that the guy had in his home, there were installed solid carbon block filter media, manufactered by a company called, "Multipure" out of Las Vegas, Nevada. I currently use one on my own sink for drinking water. To remove any and all chlorine, as well as any pesticides that would get trapped in the city collection ponds of a majority of municipal drinking water sources.

@HolicCreation
@HolicCreation Ай бұрын

Why do we need the gravel if the slits are so small in the PVC? The gravel doesn’t filter anything itself like charcoal. The sand, pebbles, and gravel in other systems just keeps larger particles from going through till you “clean” it with carbon/charcoal.
@HolicCreation
@HolicCreation 2 күн бұрын
The gravel in a filtration system primarily serves to provide structural support and distribution of water flow rather than directly filtering contaminants like activated charcoal does. The gravel layer helps evenly distribute water through the system, ensuring that the finer filtration layers, such as sand or activated carbon, work effectively by preventing clogging and maintaining consistent flow. Even though gravel doesn't actively filter contaminants, it plays an essential role in maintaining the overall efficiency and longevity of the filtration system. Would you consider trying this approach?

@HolicCreation
@HolicCreation Ай бұрын
Do czyszczenia rur można użyć węża wysokociśnieniowego.

@HolicCreation
@HolicCreation Ай бұрын
