When my dog died two years ago, I bought a Nightmare Before Christmas Zero ornament in remembrance of her. I recently got a Zero plush toy that is usually next to her ashes. Every time I’ve lost a loved one, the electricity has always without fail been effected. Our souls are energy which cannot be destroyed only transformed. Electricity is energy, it would make sense that our energy once freed from our bodies could effect anything electrical. When my twins (son and daughter) passed, the next days they gave us a light show & you could feel their energy in the room. You were an awesome mom to your fur babies Jade but I am so sorry you had to go through this just as your new lil gremlin was coming into the world. So so many hugs to you guys during this incredibly difficult time. Neens absolutely is with you and made her presence known. I had a black rabbit named Binx and every morning after I’d let her out of her cage (she was house trained) she would boop my ankles while I would be getting dressed. A few years ago she passed away suddenly and the following day, while I was sitting on my bed and was crying, I felt her boop my ankles and for a second I forgot that she was gone and I bent down to rub her head like I normally would and realized she was gone. It was beautiful and heartbreaking all at once. We heard her little feet for weeks like she was running around. So, I can tell you our fur babies are with us. They’ll remind you every one e in a while but they’re waiting for us when it’s our time. 🖤🖤🖤

I believe you about the flickering lights. My "granddog" passed away on HALLOWEEN of all flipping days and my husband and I were sitting in the garage passing out candy. All of a sudden, the brand-new bulb I put in like a week before starting flickering and I said, "Oh that's our Izzy", my husband looked at me like I was crazy. Neighbor comes over like an hour later and the light started flickering again and she goes "that must be Izzy". Days later, some lights were flickering inside the house and there was a tennis ball right at my patio door. Izzy's absolute favorite thing on the planet was a tennis ball. We hadn't had a tennis ball in our yard for a couple years because our dog could care less about toys. Can't tell me that's a coincidence.

I had an incidence of lights not coming on above my desk at work. We had a resident spirit who refused to stop working. The anniversary of her death was the day the lights were out above the desk. I saw my kitty Hallie run down the stairs past me after she passed away. I've had too many paranormal experiences for it not to be real. We are all energy and eternal, even the fur babies. I'm decorating very minimally this year. No tree, just some greenery and lights. I have some slipcovers for my sofa pillows to make it look Yule festive. I've been down in the dumps, I'm old, and I really don't want the mess to clean up after the holidays are over. I love the dark green on your bed! Dark green is my current color on my living room walls. Such a cozy color!

I usually decorate with shades of purple and gold from my kiddo's first Christmas. But as my kiddo has gotten older, a few times I've done a more classic Christmas decor with the red, gold, and green. I also did a more 80s multi color Christmas when my kiddo asked me to decorate how we did when I was a kid. This year, my now 16 year old has asked to take decorative control of both Halloween and Christmas. This year, for Christmas, she's wanted to go the yuletide route so we're going to dry some orange slices and make homemade salt dough ornaments, etc. We're going to use a gold satin and a purple velvet ribbon to hang our homemade ornaments, keeping in the purple and gold theme she knows I love. I really look forward to making homemade ornaments with her this year. We're going to see Nosferatu on Christmas morning, and I am so excited!!!! Every year, we go to the movies for Christmas, usually on Christmas Eve or the week of Christmas in general. That is if a good movie we're interested in comes out at that time. Otherwise I like to stay home and watch either Lord Of The Rings or Star Wars, or a Christmas horror movie like Black Christmas (1974 or 2019). That said, I'm so sorry about Neens. I know she's been with you for many years, and this is difficult. I hope this holiday season wraps you up in love and that your newest addition brings you renewed joy. I am a HUGE holiday decorator from Halloween to Easter; I even have some Groundhogs's Day decor. I decorate for the seasons too, I put up Fall for Sept, take it all down & put up spooky Halloween for Oct, take it all down a put up Fall again with a splash of Thanksgiving theme. But by far... Halloween & Christmas are the biggest to decorate. I tend to decorate every room, basement, porch, back deck and even the outside of my shed. 😊 This year, I tore my Achilles in Sept & had to miss Halloween decorating this year. I discovered your channel & have been living vicariously through your videos. I had offers from family & friends to decorate for me but I wanted to keep them in my life so I chose not to subject them to my over the top decorating personality 😀 Though I will be directing my son to put up the outside & main floor this year; I can't miss Christmas too! I TOTALLY believe you about the lights with Neen's ..... My mother, sister and I all had encounters with being hit with a random drop of water in our homes, all within 24 hours of each other right after my father passed away. None of us told each other till one of us told the story .... THEN My mom called me panicked .... she also got a call from my fathers cell phone! .... his name popped up on the caller ID. I came to see it myself because I couldn't believe it, and there was his name right there with the time marked! I DEFFINITLY THINK Neens was with you, and she was showing you her spirit! I personally do a witchy "dark winter forest" / winter witch theme. I use flocked garland and floral picks with brass antique pieces. I collect cute little brass animals etc. I have a sign that says "Blessed Yule" and I add dried orange slices, raven statues, owl statues, mushrooms, all my clear quartz (looks like ice) etc and I have a reindeer bust that I painted matte black. So it also has a touch of dark academia. I don't have a mantle, but I do have an antique desk that has shelves. Thats my main focal for the seasons other than the Christmas Tree.

Well this time I laughed, tears were still on my cheeks. The pillow part was difficult. But it makes sense to gradually transition. Ironically my furbaby boy's blanket he last used was a small forest green throw. frfr. I didn't wash it so I could feel he was still there. It isn't velvet but it's soooo soft. He was around 19 years old too. I lost him close to when you lost Bailey. Some say Neens wasn't in this video. She is...at the beginning. Her little cute self is in the Birch section when you're unwrapping it. 🖤 Thank you for sharing so much... The gremlin noises were even perfect IMO. I do love you, ghoul. We really are here for you.

I decorate creepmas for Christmas. Dark dark greens, black, red, white, moss green. But I do use reindeer, nutcrackers and gingerbread to decorate. I keep Halloween up all year.

So sorry about Neens, I know she was much loved and still is. It's very hard when we lose our fur babies. I have lost many over the years. I love vintage Christmas as we have our old ornaments, old paper decorations and the same fake plastic Christmas tree that we haved used every year since I was 2 years old. That was 47 years ago. The tree still looks amazing. ❤️🥰🌲
