Driver and loader are any rank from Fuzzy (E-1) to Specialist (E-4). Gunner is usually a Sergeant (E-5) but in some cases they can be any lower enlisted from 1-4 as well. The TC is also usually a Staff Sergeant (E-6) but can be a sergeant if they are short handed. I’ve seen other NCO’s drive their tanks before though because sometimes it just feels good to get back in the drivers hole but that’s only on little occasion.

@@antonyschenk4513 Just about the worst place to be infantry. From what ive heard on deployment from a US marine who survived fallujah it was just about as terrible as its commonly talked about. From IEDs to insurgents and milita men around every corner to 10 story apartment buildings and you dont know from which window you'll get shot up. To sum it up, urban combat hell.

Scouts are Cavalry. Strykers are Mechanized infantry. Bradleys are Mechanized/Armored Cavalry. Tankers are Armor. I will die on this hill.
