First one was a waltz, easy to spot by the rhythm. I can imagine people dancing to it. The second was a take on EDM, so you jumped from 1890 to 1990. If you had used a Krell patch instead of EDM, that might have been futuristic. What I know about future dance music is that it will definitely have a dance beat. Some of the electronic musicians have been experimenting with polymeter on the dance floor.
