​@@loriu991so odd seeing this comment because I just learned the grape jelly thing last week. I also just seen today that hummingbirds often observe them eating the jelly and try it. Unfortunately if the hummingbirds get it on their feathers they struggle to clean it off and can lead to death. We all love our feathered friends so I'm just sharing some info.😊❤

If I was staying at that villa Eveline, I think I'd died and had gone to heaven. It's stunning, and so peaceful. The pool, the garden, the views and the river. Absolutely blissful. LouLou and Coco's 🐾 duck and green bean dinner has given me an idea for a stir fry. Roll on another Fred's frothy favourites video tomorrow. Btw, the steps are looking pristine now 😏.

@@mindmyown1 You are most likely correct........... And I'm glad Eveline is not too rigid that she allows herself treats and carbs in moderation. Sausages, hot dogs, chocolate, pizza, burgers, etc.....But she largely follows a Mediterranean Diet, which is very healthy and one of the best.

So adorable that dogs being very social animals always want to be included in activities. I read another natural mosquito repellant is 2 tsp. Vanilla without added sugars/alchohol and 1 cup of water in a spray bottle works well. Cheers Fred !

This all sounds idyllic, the crickets are really loud, I take it that noise is crickets and not birds, what a beautiful place to relax. In Scotland we are plagued by midges, we live next to the sea, if the breeze is less than 6 miles an hour we use Jungle Formula. I love France and the food, have a lovely day ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Eveline, I was wondering when you were going to clean those stairs!!!😂😂😂 Seriously, your videos are so relaxing...you eat the way my mom did...she was from Denmark. Also, please beware of the mosquitos. The natural remedies don't work, I'm sorry to say. Cutter's spray...and, yes, it has chemicals but anymore it's the only thing I find to work. ONE mosquito, only one bite, gave me West Nile Virus. Believe me. You don't want it. They carry other diseases, too. I always shower after I through outside but it's best the spray than getting sick. Have a wonderful vacation and hug the fur babies for us.❤

Mosquitos think I'm the buffet table! Some homeopathic citronella sprays work a little...but best to cover up with light, gauzy clothes. Hard to do in the heat. I know the itchy feeling, Eveline...we're just too sweet!!!

Such a treat visiting the south of France with your family during this hot summer! For mosquito bites you should try Avon's Skin So Soft. It's a natural oil but works. Outdoorsmen swear by it.

I hear eating certain foods can help keep mosquitoes away, like garlic... also, taking vitamin B complex... I love your videos, I have a mini dachshund that looks like Coco and Loulou, they have such great personalities :) I love the place you are staying at :)

What a lovely day! The quiet. The birds and insects. The water and a small breeze. I would be asleep it’s so relaxing. None of the natural insect remedies work for our mosquitoes either. I have to resort to the chemicals or be carried away. Do the dogs take medication to keep from getting heartworm from mosquito bites? We must guard them against ticks as well. I’m looking forward to Fred’s beer reviews😊 and every other thing you find to do on your holiday.

I use Soresto tick and flea collars for my dogs. They are pricey but they work incredibly well for up to 7 months. I've used them on 5 dogs with no visible nasty reactions. I'd prefer to not use them but I got overcome by fleas one year and it was so gross lol...never again👍

@@vaughn6371 None at all. We have been using them for quite a few years. I know we haven’t had a flea infestation in all of those years either. We do live in a high tick and mosquito area so we are quite particular about keeping them safe, tested and treated if we needed to.

I was wondering how the stairs that you cleaned last time are looking? Am I miss taken about the stairs? We’re they the wood ones you were sweeping? I remember stones and not open like the wood ones. I think Loulou and Coco enjoy vacations as much as y’all do. They are so cute. Makes me miss my sweet Minnie so much. She had hair just like theirs and she was black. She also had Loulous eyes.
