I'm glad you shared one of your earlier videos. So many heartwarming Christmas stories, some were familiar, some were new. Thank you! 🎄

What a fun video, Reney! You did a great job! How exciting to listen to you mention Virginia's Shenandoah Valley! Yay! I'm an 80's kid and I've spent every Christmas of my life in the Shenandoah Valley. In fact, I happen to be in the Shenandoah Valley right now as I write this! Does the story mention where in the Shenandoah Valley it's set? I so agree with the author of this story - I was glad too as a kid that I wasn't totally reliant on Santa for gifts. And I remember Christmas Eve also as by far the loooooooongest day and evening of the year. Both an exciting day but also an agonizing one as it seemed like Christmas morning would never arrive! Our parents allowed my twin brother and I to open one gift on Christmas Eve - it seems like we spent a lifetime for that moment and then had to wait another lifetime for Christmas morning to arrive. Thank you for sharing! Happy Holidays to you, Donna, and Raina!

I've never thought to read or watch season specific books &/or films, always makes me curious when I hear others talk about things like this, don't think I really have traditions - I should search some out. It'd be nice to have this rhythm in my life. Thanks for another fun & interesting video, hope you have a wonderful festive season.

It's so interesting, what I take for granted - it really doesn't occur to me to NOT do something season specific for Christmas- or for that matter, any other American holiday. Interesting .... anyway, I hope you enjoyed the video.
