I read over the CR contract that I signed. Is it true that I have to wear the elf costume for all live shows? I had my lawyer read it over and he said I do. You guys are sneaky!
@SchuylkillRiverValley3 жыл бұрын
Haha. Well, we did ask our lawyers to make the fine print real small! See on the 28th Elf Mark!

Wait! Your giving away stuff too? Oh boy, prizes galore! Now since it is on my channel, do I tell you that I will be there or here? I am a little confused...lol - Jason

Well, you're not going to be here. But then again, I'm going to be there. Hmm, see what you started? Who's on first?

John, Merry Christmas! I have to say that last night's SideTrack Sunday show was not completely enjoyable to me. I tried hard to participate but it was a real effort. At some point the laughter and jocularity was just over-the-top in my eyes and it became tiresome. I've been accused of being too serious at times (rarely). And I'm a bit of a lone wolf. So perhaps I am a minority opinion on this. But that was more than an hour of my time. I want to have some fun, sure, but I also am looking for a little more content than jokes and one-liners. I know the show can be different. Heath's unboxing was the highlight. Your Acid Pit show was one of the most fascinating and well-told stories I have heard in years! But last night was just too light for me. I hope I won't be punished for my honest critique, but I think real fans deliver honest reviews. Maybe a moderator can be tasked with keeping things on track? Maybe the agenda can be a bit more structured? Or maybe I don't understand the purpose of the show and just need to not attend? If SideTrack Sunday is purely social, then I guess I didn't understand that and I am probably out. Signed, Ebenezer Scrooge.

Merry Christmas my friend. Please don't apologize, I would never 'punish' anyone for an honest, fair review - even if it's critical. While Side Track Sunday is setup so that each of us controls the content on our own channels, I wouldn't call STS purely social. Fact is, we had a more structured show planned for the holiday special - one more focused on model railroading. Unfortunately, we were relying on each of us receiving packages that got delayed in transit. So, we found ourselves on Saturday, with our 'script' out the window and scrambling for a show. Aside from the giveaways and unboxings- we had nothing. The show you saw was entirely ad lib. While there will probably be 'social' shows on occasion in the future, I wouldn't expect that to be the norm. We all intend our shows to be fun - we're all a bit crazy and like to rib each other. But generally speaking, we all want more substance in the shows. Thanks for the very kind review of the 'Acid Pit' show. I had a lot of fun with that one - not sure how I'm going to top it. LOL. I value your support, your kind words and your critical ones. No show could ever hope to improve without listening to the audience. I realize that some in chat look for the social aspect - I feel that should be a part of it, but not the crux. Believe it or not, we're all serious model railroaders and strive to put on a decent show. We allowed the holiday show to go further off-track than normal because it seemed that everyone needed to blow off some steam - TBH ourselves included. Especially with the year we've all had - it was understandable. Thanks for being there - we appreciate it. We hope to see you at future STS shows - at least the ones that capture your interest. BTW, having an opinion does not qualify you as Ebenezer! A very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy & Safe New Year to you Bob. and those you hold dear!
