I really appreciate how you share the little tips and show progress. One of the hardest parts of trying to learn my families’ recipes was figuring out it wasn’t just a certain amount of an ingredient but a certain temperature, mixing technique, texture etc. that was often not written down because it was second nature.

His circle straw could look like a wreath if it had some chopped chives in the mix and add a red pimiento bow. Guess the pimiento would need to be dried some. Hey, wonder if you tied it in a bow then used the dehydrator? Sounds like something I need to try! Love anything with cheese so these will be a New Years treat. My favorite part of this video is Mr. B's ending kiss and 'love you' - he is a keeper!

Mr Brown I’m the cheese eater here, cheese daily, cheese on everything. If you ask my hubby what my favorite food is, he’ll say cheese 🧀 I told him he needs to put “The lover of cheese” or something of the matter on my headstone lol 😆 I’m loving this recipe, they seem something like a cheezit cracker maybe?

Saved for next year! I have a metal cookie press that was given to me by a lady from church when I was a very young child like 8 years old. We used it every year I made spritz cookies but it is at my mother's house and she just passed away a few months ago like 3 months ago. I am the last in my line of Shaw's. I am going to purchase a home after I sell my parents house because I'm disabled and I can't handle a house and land like that. I have a buyer who I know my mother wanted to sell it to before she passed away. Christmas will come next year but for now me and George my cat the love of my life will spend the day remembering the real meaning of Christmas. 🙏🎄

I've never made cheese straws, but I like to take chunks of cheese (Medium or sharp Cheddar seems to work best for me) and just let them melt in a hot pan, then scrape, or peel them off... depending on the pan. Sometimes I flip them to get a better crisp LOL The cheese gets nice and crispy, which I like. Might have to give these a try one day. I remember the cheese in the jars... my favorite was the cream cheese with pineapple. Have not thought of those in years. I'd just like to say that I ADORE the two of you and the Bond you share is wonderful. Your hearts are truly deeply connected, and it shows in even the simplest interactions. Wishing you a Christmas filled with many warm and special moments, shared with those you hold in your hearts, moments that will be cherished treasures always. Many Blessings and God's Grace and Goodness to you all. May your New Year be richly Blessed. *LK*

I still use the Old English cheese. I take one jar of it and one jar of the blue cheese flavor, 2 8 0z packs of cream cheese, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire and garlic powder to taste. I like a half teaspoon but that's too much for my son-in-law. Mix very well and roll in chopped nuts. (Your choice) and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 24 hours.
