Great vlog series! Brought back wonderful memories of our Med cruise on QM2. It's so nice to see the servers still wearing the same necktie (like a bow tie style). A server kindly gave one to my DH who wears it on formal nights on our cruises and it's quite a conversation piece.

A ship day in port 😘 Spa Day - seems reasonable for a full day pass! Looked great with no one around. Such a controversy- You two used jam first and Scott used creme🤪 Any fights over this? 🤣 What was Luke drinking in the Commodore Club? Huge🙂.. with tiny berries. Named after the ships? You four looked very smart for the evening 🙂 Spring Lamb 😘😘😘😘! Wow- what a great night! Bloody great video!

Innocents Abroad oh yes the controversy over the scones, personally we put the jam on first so the cream sticks better, but other than that... it all tastes fantastic either way. The drink up the commodore club would have been a queens gin perfect serve or if it’s the one with the big bottle, that was also a gin perfect serve for 2, if I remember right it was gin with cherry herring brandy and fever tree tonic with all of the trimmings. 😋 being the only ones on board was really nice, the ship lovely and quiet- perfect for filming a ship tour. We also had the upper hand when it came to afternoon tea, as everyone wants to do this on a short cruise they even queue for it, so we were there first by not getting off👍🏻 thanks for the comment we’re so glad you enjoyed the video!

That sharing cocktail was good too, not sure what gin possibly a queens gin with cherry herring brandy and fever tree tonic, with all of the trimmings! Looking forward to my first Cunard cruise on the Victoria next year. A brief 4 nighter to Amsterdam. I think you must have had one too many Gins when editing - 'As I've said before we really rate P&Os food' ;-). Love a few G&Ts myself so will be in the Commodore club (and the late night Yacht Club too). Cant wait for more of your videos

I was on Queen Victoria May 2019 Baltic's cruise in Princess Grills. Had an amazing time. Loved Cunard. Would do Cunard again.

Another great video guys, thanks for sharing. Must admit I have never stayed on a ship on a port day, but think I will give it a go now as it seems to be nice and quiet. So are you booked up for Iona?

If you’ve been to the port already a “ship day” is something we highly recommend! You practically get the ship to yourself! Iona.... we were booked on her maiden and we were really looking forward to it, however having been the fjords last year on Arcadia we felt it was too close to repeat the same itinerary- too much of a good thing and all... we will be going on Iona for sure, we’re thinking of sharing the experience with either family and/or friends there are some fantastic offers out there for Iona at the moment too so watch this space... in the meantime we swapped Iona for Anthem of the seas a new experience all together for us having not cruised with Royal Caribbean before 👍🏻

Hi, thank you for this video. It had given me some expectations for our cruise soon. May I ask how the drinks bill was settled (ie, after each order, after each night or charged to your room and paid at the end of the cruise) thank you!

Hopefully it’s useful. You register a credit or debit card to you account and on the final night this is taken and you’ll have a print out delivered ready for disembarkation. We use a credit card as they will put ‘holds’ on during the cruise. When they take the full about the holds will still be in place but drop off after a week - that could case issues on debit cards/accounts. Alternatively you can take cash and settle at reception by the final night or pre load your account on the first day. Hope that helps.

There were no formal nights on this cruise as it was only 2nights. The dress code on Cunard is very formal though, men have to wear a jacket even on casual nights 👍🏻
