Daniel Kay real boys are not afraid to show human emotions sometimes. Show they are man....not robots. But there’s more men that Cary too much hurt on their back then we can ever imagine. They learned to survive without shutting tears. Instead they turn their hearts into a rock. Which make others judge them to be cold hearted asses

I loved this song when I first heard it freshman year of HS; in fact, I only listen to it on this video, since it’s the OG. however, until recently, I subconsciously was not able to listen to it anymore. now that I’ve grown up & worked through all the mental muck of my life, I’m realizing that the actual lyrics hit way too close to home. having lost my Lolo, who was a G & the closest I’ve had to a father figure (even moreso than my actual father), I relate to close to this whole song. yet, I choose to listen to it now as a sign of moving on with my life. hope everyone reading this can achieve the same.
