I have watched hundreds of cruise videos, and I must say that this video is outstanding. I’m in New York getting cabin fever, and you both rescued me. You both have great personalities and dialogue. You have the unique ability of making the viewer feel that they are actually enjoying every minute of your vacation. God Bless you both, and keep up the good work.

When we started filming our cruises we set out to help the viewer feel like they are there with us - so your comments make us so happy. We felt the same cabin fever over COVID and watched lots of cruise vlogs to help us get through it all - so we can relate. We mingled around Rudy’s and looked at the menu all three cruises - just never tried it. Everyone we talked to raved about the menu/food there.

You guys have had the perfect cruise, not hurried, not crowded and some great locations (will be going to the sky bar) (will have to walk slow) I also appreciate all the truffle infused and flavored dishes (truffles aren't my thing) that I can now steer clear of :)

The Sky Bar is worth the climb. Keep in mind that there’s a more gentle slope on the back side towards the water slides - much easier than the stairs we did going up.

Just watching your Grand Turk video. Have you tried a light pink filter for the Go Pro? I use a light pink for snorkelling and a darker pink for scuba diving. The filter cuts the blue/green hue of the water for a more natural colour of the fish and coral. Safe sailing.

We’ve casually looked at filters for the GoPro and have done some adaptations to over overcome the colour challenges. The angle of the sun compared to camera angle is a big help - shooting from below with a more acute angle to the sun helps. However, we will be looking into the filters. Thanks for the tips.

Great video! Thanks for showing me around Amber Cove. We opted to rent a taxi for the day and drive around the Dominican. We went to a chocolate factory and purchased fresh fruit and avocado at a fruit stand.

That’s sounds interesting - we usually do a tour of new stops, but still warming up to COVID freedoms. We were impressed with the pool and relaxation at the port. Great stop for sure.

Awesome vlog, it ended too soon, lol! We didn't get to explore Amber Cove on our one and only visit because, like you, it was a completely miserable day. We hope to return one day! Looks like a great meal at Pinnacle Grill and I totally understand overindulging in the delicious bread. I really enjoy your vlogs and your sense of humour, look forward to the next instalment!

That was a full day! We have a collection of those tiles, but I've never seen one like the ones you just received. We use them as coasters all through our house. There's one in front of me right now!

Ya we bought some of those tiles on Etsy at the start of COVID and didn’t realize the ships gave them out. We also use our for coasters and have a bunch of them now.

Mr Canuck is a meteorologist by trade and runs a government weather office. This career choice was motivated by being a weather geek from a very young age - just fascinated with storms. We know someone that just got off the Rotterdam and they had a great time. Hope that countdown goes by quickly.

I was a USAF Pilot for 23 years and a pilot for Delta Air Lines for 20 years. Retired from both but the weather geekery will never leave me! 😱😎

I’m always curious about the price of sunscreen on board and at the port shops. Packing it takes up so much space! Love Australian Gold.

We think the sunscreen was around $15 but no 100% sure of our memory. We will check on the Carnival Pride in 10 days and try to remember to let you know.

That’s all free! Chairs are free - there might be a charge for an umbrella but you can find shade if you get there early or it’s not busy. We loved that stop!

We are leaving for our cruise this weekend (same cruise as yours). So excited! We were thrilled to watch your Amber Cove vlog since we have never been there. My husband wants to know how much the smoke infused drink is at the Half Moon bar. We saw the menu online but there weren't any prices. We have the Signature Drink Package but I'm guessing that particular drink doesn't qualify.

So excited for you. The smoke drink is called The Rotterdam VII and we didn’t pay for it or any drink at the Half Moon Bar. We had the same drink package and all the drinks there were included. So you should be good to go. Just tell Paola Mae that we sent you to try it and you will be good. We loved Amber Cove - had the pool to ourselves but it was before noon. Have a great cruise and let us know how you like the ship.

Thanks for the info!! We are super excited. First cruise in two years. We (like you two) have been on around 30 cruises, mainly on Holland America (also Princess, Royal Caribbean and one Carnival). We'll say hi to Paola Mae for you. We'll just be thrilled if we get to go. Covid test tomorrow, then we fly Southwest Airlines (who cancelled over 1,000 flights last weekend). We are holding our breaths at this point!

Yes glasses of wine only, not bottles. $11USD per glass limit and we found lots of options.
