We took cruise about month ago flew out of Chicago qas gone 2 weeks did land and cruise first time on boat went with a group of 42 qas a nice time weather was nice

Glad the medical emergency happened before sailing! We were on the Westerdam out of Seattle in July and the ship had to stop for a helicopter evacuation the next day! Scary scenario!

Will you tell us whether you buy a drinks/gratuities/wifi package when you sail the different cruises ie on this cruise did you? I enjoy watching your videos after completing our first Alaskan cruise this year on the Sapphire Princess. Greetings from New Zealand.

Glad you enjoyed the video! We did not buy the package for this Cruise. However, our booking did include prepaid gratuities and an onboard credit. Typically we don't buy a package, but sometimes if available we'll buy a coffee card or beverages one by one. We are mostly fueled by coffee 🤣 in regards to internet, our cell plan works for us on all the port days and if we need internet we'll just buy it for the day.

We stayed with family about an hour outside Vancouver towards Langley. 25min drive to the SkyTrain.

We enjoyed both of those ships thoroughly. They're both more of a relaxing style of cruise and have different pros. It would be hard for us to pick one over the other because we had such a positive experience on both ships. We don't feel like you could go wrong with either of them. Maybe base it on itinerary.
