I may book Holland America just for the lunch. My friends have cruised with them for years. The appetizers alone showed nice attention to detail. Good fried chicken and waffles is not as easy as it looks, yes, waffles need to be crispy and a little maple syrup is a must. Great video, Thank you!

You're very welcome! Yes just let the waiter know and the kitchen will able to make changes to any dish for you. You can even let your travel agent know and they can submit the info ahead of time which can help.

That's a tough one. For not having to pay extra (i.e. specialty dining), Holland America, Celebrity & Princess are the top 3. But the others are not far behind. Well, other than MSC, which was a bit lacking, though their specialty dining was really good.

If you're vaccinated (even better boosted), and test negative 2 days before the cruise then you're good to go. On the ship masks were required indoors unless eating and drinking, but those requirements might be gone soon, and maybe in October as well.

Holland America for sure, Celebrity, and then Princess…..in that order. I have been cruising for many year and have been on many NCL ships, Carnival, Princess, Holland America, Royal Caribbean, MSC.😊

@@roystelzer5466 I’m not a big coffee drinker thus I haven’t explored the coffee shops on cruise ships. As for the buffets: Royal Caribbean has a good combo of large in sizes with good food selections. Holland America, celebrity & Princess offer high quality food with fewer selections. NCL & Carnival have larger buffets with decent food- NCL has better selections. I’ve only been on MSC once and their buffet was the worst with tons of cheap pasta and carbs dishes with chicken, pork and maybe beef- didn’t see a single dish with seafood. However, their daily freshly made pizzas were authentic and phenomenal- best pizzas compared to all the freshly made pizzas on any cruise ship that I have tried.🙂
