Nessun Dorma by Giacomo Puccini is an opera singer's greatest and most difficult challenge. The story and success of Paul Potts in the Britain got's Talent was great. What Martin Hurkens did on stage is breathtaking. He doesn't have to hide from any tenor in the world. Unbelievable.

as a dutch guy i agree to what you have said. i do prefer this edition above the one of Paul Potts because i can actually understand the words Martin is singing. And when i compare em to the lyrics they are almost spot on, but Paul sings another version and for me more difficult to understand the words he is actually singing. In some instances it does not sound like a word but just the sound. But this may also be because i am half deaf. Either way, i have to stick to my roots on this one because it seems to me a better version than Paul. Both are on the same stage as Mario was, Mario Lanza (who in my and my father's opinion is the one who sang it perfectly.)

Voilà un chômeur qui a vraiment beaucoup de talent, un ancien boulanger qui sait donner de la voix! Cela me fait penser que ce n'est pas parce qu'on perd son job qu'on perd de sa valeur... Chacun est unique et irremplaçable et j'en profite pour le dire à tous les chômeurs qui sont trop souvent victimes de notre société matérialiste qu'ils ne doivent jamais douter de leur valeur. Gisteren voor het eerst op tv gezien ik ging er even bij staan wat een stem wauw!! Kippevel had/ heb ik op mijn armen staan. Het nummer is ook mooi om te mogen zingen. Kan zelf ook hoog zingen maar zo hoog heb ik nog niet gedurft. Talent van 2010 echt wel!!! Martin Succes!!!!

dit stuk is tijdloos. Dit zal over 100 jaar nog te horen zijn. Elk mens met gevoel, oud of jong, heeft dezelfde klankkast waar dit soort muziek in resoneert. En die wie hier geen gevoel bij hebben zijn toondoof, of in ieder geval ver verwijderd van een hele hoop zaken.
