I can’t understand why Mr. Potts is being compared to other tenors. Each one has a different tone to their voice which makes them unique. I’m 76 years old and first fell in love with opera as a child when I heard Mario Lanza sing for the first time. It was Paul Potts who made me fall in love with it all over again. God bless you Mr. Potts for that. You have an incredible gift. Always be thankful for it.

Raffeal Morris Opera isn't a style of singing or singing an isolated aria or two. Opera is a theatrical production with a full cast, costumes, scenery, makeup, lighting staging, props. There are no microphones or amplification of any kind used in opera. Paul gives concerts of mostly pop music with a couple of opera arias thrown in. He uses a microphone. This is very different from opera.

I'm amazed at how respectful and silent the audience are during the entire performance. Just before performing they all fall silent, and give undivided attention. They maintain their integrity to hold all applause until he has absolutely finished. Wonderfully Done!! Beautiful version and he did a great job at the end. Beautiful Japanese Orchestra and Conductor as well. The Japanese are very dedicated to their music and Paul Potts did a wonderful job. I love the audience!
