Good review. Some items to add. Fuel tank below cab is to maintain front/ rear weight distribution as fuel is burned off. Open rear architecture is allow a ball hitch for gooseneck applications like slurry tankers or scrapers. Also to add commodity tanks for liquids.

I think having def would be better than egr def is an after treatment and doesn’t harm the engine and egr does shorten engine life also getting rid of the dpf is a good deal we have a lot more problems with dpf and egr related issues than we do with the def system def also allows the engine manufacturers to tune the engine for performance and longer life and better fuel economy

The stuff crystallizers very bad on the side of containers. Also, if you look at the side of the highways in California now versus about 2000, the highways were nice and green and now they’re brown and dead. and it also is just a government gimmick to make money. It does not help at all.

Seems like the fuel tank should ha e been bigger. But probably a fuel tank add on available. Working it hard is 11 hours of use. But maybe this is hour range is fairly normal for equipment. But 11 hours one is covering alot of ground with this. Do they have equipment to actually use this tractors full capacity? Probably working on it. Probably have some now. Of course the idea of this is to pull high speed equipment. Really cover alot of acres fast using less labor. Like self checkout. Labor ain't cheap anymore.

I found this direct from Deere's website: Rear 3-Point Hitch-Lift Capacity Handle some of the largest mounted implements in the industry, including large planters and air-seeding rigs. Most 9RX models can be equipped with a rear hitch to handle up to 20,000 pounds (9,071.8 kg).

I see the hydraulic pumps on the back just wondering what the reason is for that
@matthewb77406 ай бұрын
They had to relocate the hydraulic tank when they moved the fuel tank to the center. So now the hydraulic tank is above the rear axle. They put the hydraulic pumps directly under the hydraulic tank for gravity flow to them. Also much easier to adjust or replace the pumps back there. Also the gearbox that drives the hydraulic pumps i believe has the pto drive in it as well. Also better hydraulic efficiency when the hydraulic pumps are close to the rear scv stack for flow to implements.

Those tractors were designed for out west and Canada in the middle of nowhere so they can load and pull those 100’ air drills towing 850 bushel carts up the hills. I’m under the impression they often times only can fill the carts half full due to power/traction issues with that type terrain. Think back why big bud and others came about in history. I do like Deere so understand I’m not bashing them. The corn belt states imo is a second thought. The tractor is a sharp design.
