Holley Sniper EFI troubleshooting: Bad ECU??

Tested my o2 sensors and determined the ECU on my Holley Sniper Efi is bad. car is a third gen 1990 Chevy Camaro with flowmaster mufflers.

I uninstalled my Holley sniper EFI and Hyper Spark System. I had enough of issue after issue. Just way too many variables to go wrong. I had a bad ECU first, so, sent 4150 back to Holley , car ran fine for a while, then , lost spark. Sent Hyper Spark Distributor back, got it replaced. But soon as it came back, I sold everything and went back to my reliable Holley Avenger carburetor.

How is this suppose to be more reliable then a carburetor? I see alot of people complaining about their ecu going out.

Did you notice your water temperature gauge was bouncing back and forth from 100 - 300? You have an electrical issue that could be screwing with your ECU that's outside of the EFI. Electronics are very sensitive to voltage spikes ANYWHERE in the system.

I know my guage cluster has some issues. I've gone and rewired a lot since this video so hopefully any issues that were there are eliminated! Thank you!

Zanes Garage no problem. I installed LED light bulbs for my taillights and I was getting error codes and my cruise control quit working. The LED’s pulled so little voltage it screwed up the ECU so I had to install load resistors on the lights. When light bulbs can take out your cruise control anything can happen in your EFI if your electrical system isn’t at 💯

good afternoon I was seeing the problem about the Aftr on the Snyper Display and the Sonda exchanges, I live in Brazil and I have the same problem I already had several SNyper injections and I never had this problem how did you solve it can you share me?

Hi there, the issue for me turned out to be a bad ECU with the sniper. I was able to contact Holley and send my unit back to them where they swapped out the ECU and sent it back to me. I haven't had an issue with it since. Hope that helps!

I did have that same issue and they send me a new one that works but I have new issue with the ecu keep shutting down at certain rpm. The screen turn red with no values, and the fuel pump would ran constantly n flooded the system.

Holley does not make sensors, they relabel bosch sensors
