Pertronix Digital HP Ignition Box tach problems

tried every which way possible to get the factory tach working with the Pertronix Digital HP Ignition box and a MSD tach adapter
Also tried 2 atermarket tachs Equus and Autogage both did not work
my Autometer digital pro shift light #5343 is the only one that works out of the 4 tachs I tried so far (including the stock in dash tachometer). I have an Autometer Sport Comp II model 3690 with shift light coming in hopes this will work like my Autometer 5343
If anybody know's what I am doing wrong or has a fix to get the stock tachometer working please leave a comment! Thank you!

I feel your pain Brother!! There has to be a tach out there that will work. On the positive side of things track day is coming up! 👊🏾

I can hear the frustration in your voice, you're much more patient than I am which Im sure that u have said a few choice words and even some made up ones😅 I hope that the new tach works out for ya

Thanks Anthony, I am pretty confident a true Autometer is going to work just fine, yeah the frustration is the in and out of the car starting it up checking, the tach, well that didn't work, try again in and out of the car start , then the heat in the garage so after 15 minutes you breaking a sweat, then run in and see if you can find a sloution online, then back out and try every configuration with the tach adapter etc! LOL!
