Cooling issue. May be time to go to a bigger radiator.

@Average Joe it does have a bigger 3 row aluminum radiator, I think the issue is the water pump placement... We'll get it fixed up haha

Put really good race oil like Motul 300 in the gearbox. It keeps my 5 speed Getrag together😉👍

@@mabuildsofficial To help the tranny together, you may consider getting another getrag to tear down, and croytreating the internals, and getting a Phantom diff posi kit. Drivetrain in Las Vegas has a rebuild kit for the getrag.

@@mabuildsofficial Yes, I had the same problems. You need to bleed out all the air from the highest points on the engine. Otherwise, the Fiero cooling system seems to air lock and then blow all the coolant through the overflow!

What shifter is that? The throw is so cartoonishly long, I feel like it should be attached to a 13 speed Eaton with a skull shift knob.😂 You should do a short throw conversion asap!

It was absolutely clear from 1984-1988 this vehicle, platform, always had more potential within the engineering, designs than GM & Pontiac allowed. This vehicle not only had a great potential for 'fun'-'excitement'[Pontiac slogan then-"We Build Excitement"], sporty car, also a excellent performing Roadster and a high performance small sports car, also various racing platforms form Time Attack, Road Track, Drag Strip, etc. This vehicle can easily be modified to outperform the Corvette, C1-7, competitive with C8, Camaro/Firebird [Gen 1-6], Mustang [all Gen], Challenger/Charger [all Gen], also GTR, Supra, R-8, Viper, Why did Toyota basically copy the Fiero, introduced it in 1988, as the Fiero was known to be discontinued in by 1987 for after 1988, then modified to look more like a Fiero body, without the more advanced chassis, body panel materials, suspension - their initial 4 cylinder was certainly a much better, very significantly better version engine and transmission than the Fiero -as Toyota and Honda had developed and still have - much of Nissan, Mitsubishi, . The unique chassis design, polymer body panels, suspension, steering, mid-engine designs are among these innovations within one vehicle, which allows it to achieve all of these What are the details with this V-8 build/LS swap ? 🤔 Which power train - engine, transmission, trans-axle ? 🤔 Which ignition, intake, exhaust, throttle body, fuel EFI system/injectors/fuel type ? 🤔 Any other 'bolt on' modifications, P/A, suspension, brakes, etc. done or planned including body, 'aero', etc. ? 🤔 Note: the issues with the coolant system and air can be solved using specific tools/devices which use vacuum to remove all air in the system. Most ...90% of fieros are "LSD". Limited" slip diff". It's tire hop.. plus the coolant system is too small. Larger water rails &. 3 core radiator will fix that..
