Hollow Composite Decking (Everything You Need to Know)

The TruNorth website shows their solid and hollow decking have the same colour options and patterns. We chose our variegated colour option and our contractor ordered the solid non-grooved for the picture frame edge and hollow grooved for everything else. It turns out that while the variegated colour PALETTE is the same, the actual colour PATTERN is different. IMO the solid non-grooved board's colour pattern looks nicer. I don't know if they were manufactured in different time frames or not though, and I don't know what the solid grooved version looks like.

Aiming for the Trunorth stuff, mostly the made in Canada aspect of it, just not looking towards the whole shrinking of the deck structure itself.. their Slide and go Fastening clips look interesting, just wish they had the dimensions somewhere to make sure I don't buy too much ( or so little) in materials.

Looking for a way to secure a pergola to a hollow composite deck. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
