This is my favourite song of all time. Heard it when i was 17 in late 85 and it stuck with me. I remember going to an UCCA interview at UMIST and buying the 12" on the way home from a shop in the Arndale. Still got it

Ian Mcnabb and The Icicle Works are somewhat of a revelation to me. I always believed their tracks where by Julian Cope and Teardrop Explodes. Ian’s beautiful soulful voice has barely changed since the 1980s. Incredible musician and lovely chap.

Wow! First time ive ever heard IMc speak and I've loved their music since 84! (I'm in Sydney) Lovely fella. This is one of the best songs ever written too.

Very underrated song. Nice version too. Should have way more views. Love seeing the older people in the crowd as they sing along and reflect on their lives. ❤️

First heard all these great songs in Germany when i was in the Army, Hollow Horse was one of my favourites. Pack in Smoking Ian so you can play more years.

Thank you for your great music Mc. Nabb. It happened that i disovered your music with Icicle Works in a library here in Perth 15 years ago when i borrowed several CDs to listen. Between these cd's was one of your cd's that blown me away - with song Hollow Horses included. After i heard it i had wish to know everything about your music. I listen it all these years.👍👍

Ian has a natural wall of sound vocal as evocative as Scott Walker and enduring songs from the heart, certainly made his mark with Icicle Works and it’s distinct musicality.

Kind of ironic, having this played at my funeral, ( later reather than sooner) love it to bits, and looks like your playing it in old peoples homes.

kophead81 I stopped going, as I looked around, turned to my Mrs and said this is not a crowd I want to be part of! But the music is epic, we’ll be as we are, YNWA my friend!
