I am so disappointed because you don’t have time to reset if you did not want that... I almost don’t want to continue the game anymore because of that, I feel so frustrated

focus on dodging his attacks instead of trying to kill him, youre going to die a few times maybe tons but you will learn his queues and timings as well as when you can get attacks in. I died over and over and over in before even staggering him. Then almost flawlessed him. He's tough if you get overwhelmed because of his speed but if you take your time he is quite simple actually.

the fight is not really a fight but as grimm says a dance, he attacks and then gives you a moment to attack him once or twice and then he attacks, this is why if you fail a dodge (misstep in the dance) he punishes you by continuing dancing himself without you making quite heavy combos should you not know how to get back on foot, NKG is basically him considering you are prepared for the real dance, a faster paced one with moves that are harder yet doable, just the fact of the player seeing it as a dance makes the 2 "fights" easier, thats also the reason why he does not randomly use the puffer fish attack, he only uses it in his first dance as a punishment if you strike him rather than waiting or bowing and when he has 75% 50% 25% healthjust warning you the progress of your dance and how soon it is from finishing, then again this is just my perspective although the dance is confirmed by grimm himself as i quote "Dance with me, my friend. The crowd awaits. Show them you are worthy of a starring role!"

I can't find the damage of the grimmchild on the internet. Like the completed ritual version of the grimmchild. I would think going through nightmare king grimm would yield a substantial reward. Like a grimmchild with 21 damage per hit, which is probably asking too much. But 8 per hit is a fair bit too little for me.
