Great to see you playing this again! A few miscellaneous tips in case you read this before the next part: * You can talk to shopkeepers by stepping behind the counter to get a bit more dialogue. * Be careful with trusting the map too much: If you enter a room but can't explore it, leave and sit at a bench, it'll *look* like you've fully explored it even though you haven't. This got you a lot in the original HTSF! ;) A good early example is the bottom right of Forgotten Crossroads - you haven't been there yet, but it looks like you have. Map pins can be very helpful for this. * If you want to get the Dream Nail early you'll need the Lumafly Lantern (then find the dark room in the east of Forgotten Crossroads) - but it costs a whopping 1800 Geo!

So nice to see you streamin again! I hope my in between stream tip got trough i tipped after i went trough the Little Kitty HTSF VOD's :-) ... going to watch this now and then rotate back to those castlevania 3D titles :-D ... good excuse to keep painting or editing photos !

@@OverTheGun happy to hear it went trough, i usually cant catch you live so … a lone figure walks trough the venue, with the stage empty and seats abandoned, the only sound you hear beside the steps is wind and a humm from the fridge where the drinks are stored for the viewers. The figure walks to the Tipjar, and you see the silhouette of a tiny… duck? Waddle across his arm, and just as it reaches the hand, you hear the clang of coins falling. Just so, the little crature jumps into the jacket of the hooded figure. The figure raises a hand 🤘, turns around, and its like you could just see the hint of a smile, and vanishes back into the dark of night with only the door of the venue moving. Only the couple coins remain, hinting that something changed while nobody was there. (Felt the urge to write a short story 🙃)

So slowly going through the parts of the VoD I missed, you talking about missing Soul Calibur in this set about the hour mark... I bet SC3's Chronicle of the Sword mode would make a good HTSF you know (though a one off Retronomicon stream would maybe be best). I think I mentioned it before somewhere, fighting game with some RTS and RPG elements in a full on story campaign, I think 23 decent lengthed levels or so. Dunno if you'd find a character with no Geralt around, but SC3 had a bunch of custom character movesets as well as the main roster, so a good chance could find something fun to use. I'm sure more thinking about the PvP rather than Vs AI, but it'd be a way to whet your appetite on some SC for sure. I always preferred 2 to 3, but that specific mode was a cool one.

Yo! Nurei here, MrGreenYeti had organized a little session in honour of Friday Fisticuffs which is why we were all in there playing T8 that day, not sure if we're making it weekly but I think we'll probably do more if the opportunity arises, I'm sure we'd all be happy to have you join us if the urge kicks back in. :) Also, as someone with a few hundred too many hours in DBD it is so weird to hear you making jokes about it, I know you'd all but sworn off that type of game with the general goal being to stick to indies and your retro library, glad you found it though! Can be some fun stress relief. :D

Great game (DBD).. considering it's a who's who of horror, I'm really surprised I never gave it some time until it was 8+ years old, lmao. (I'd be even more surprised if I don't swing back to Tekken, glhf!)

You should play Castlevania 2 Simon´s Quest, it´s the OG Metroidvania. I have it for my NES and I also have the legacy collection for Xbox. I beat Simon´s Quest first time back when I was like 11.
