@@Choctopus actually, it's because the knight has no memories, no emotions, no connections, that the knight has "no mind to think", all he really has is a goal to stop the infection. But seeing as how in the first five minutes, you have shown the knight having multiple emotions, you have condemned yourself to the true ending.

They escaped from The Abyss and got to leave the kingdom before THK called all vessels back to Hallownest because they were losing to the infection agaisnt the Radiance

@@auser8156 We can't say that for certain. There's a lot of moments that can serve as a proof that our Knight isn't hollow. BV also tries to reach its sibling while dying, that can serve as a proof that it's also not hollow. Greenpath vessel most likely commited suicide. We don't know about other vessels, but at this point it's safe to assume that none of them were hollow. I get that pale beings at first actually thought their undead progeny are basically automatons, so their actions aren't quite as horrible, as of, let's say, Soul Master, who murdered bugs, he knew were living, sapient people, just like him. However, it's heavily implied both PK and WL recognised HK isn't hollow before chaining it away. Idk if they knew at this point that neither were others, but both of them clearly hated themselves alot for the Abyss, so it's weird that people are trying to excuse it.

@@auser8156 The "Worldsence" tablet makes no sence if the PK didn't know HK isn't hollow. It's also implied that WL can sence others' feelings, so it's safe to assume she knew as well. They however didn't have another plan, nor enough time to conceive it, so they went along with the old one. This might also be the reason why they trained and raised HK to be so big and strong, so it would just constantly fight the Radiance to weaken her and make her unable to spread the infection.

Even though the "air" is infecting bugs, the infection takes hold of the mind first. The Knight is not affected because it has no mind or will of its own - or maybe it does, but it functions more like a clockwork or computer than a living thing, making the Knight highly resistant to the infection.

Cornifer is the happiest he can be, as he has a loving wife and he gets to do what he loves, so he’s able to resist the infection as the infection can’t persuade him. If that makes any sense

It took reading it several times over the years to finally understand “they can’t be undone” “they must be undone” as the dreamers referring to the knight in the second case.

I thought it was an argument, one dreamer saying “our duty is to keep the bindings secure” and the second one saying “they are worn down; they need to be undone” but then the first one wins the argument. Yours makes a little more sense, though.

I believe all characters in hollow knight refer the the Knight as an "It". If the Dreamers were referring to the Knight in the second case, they would say "They cannot be undone", "It must be undone"

I always took it as the dreamer that was most loyal to the king, I think Lurien, whatever ones in the spire as saying not to break the seals, because that’s what the king wanted. Then the dreamer in the Canyon, Monomon ( I think) was saying the seals must be undone because they were failing. Herrah I’ve always took as just not caring therefore not voicing an opinion. Like someone else said, if the knight isn’t referred to directly in this game, the knight is called an it, so I never inferred that the dreamers where talking about they knight. In addition the dreamers most likely were speaking directly to the knight, one warning it not to break the seals, the other urging it to break the seals, so them talking to the knight and then talking about it as if acting like the knight can’t hear them right after the other doesn’t make the most sense, to me at least

No, it's the dreamers arguing. Lurien thinks the seals can't be undone and that the watchers must do what the king said, and monomon thinks the seals must be undone to save the kingdom from stasis

@@edgemaster334 to a T, the combat. Which really boils down to movement and resource management, both of which are phenomenal. But that is veryyyyyyyy closely followed by the sheer size of the game. There’s so much to do and it rarely feels repetitive or boring. Plus, the OST’s a banger and I love a good challenge

I was excited to see Choc play the great game I’ve been playing for the least year (and still haven’t beaten) I thought him brining his Dad humor to the game would make it a really good experience. Then I saw the first animation ish thing of the series and was shocked by the voice acting and the paraphrasing of the npc. Then I saw that *spoilers* Failbiat voiced Conifer and I had to take a second away from the video just to take in what a pure shock plus recognition of such an unbelievable additionally enjoyable viewing of an animation I have just witnessed. This might be the most excited I have been for a video game series I may have ever been watching and I couldn’t be more excited to continue watching it, thank you so much for this series in progress Choc, you are a spectacular content creator. Also I’m only like three minutes into the video, what the heck, how is this video so gosh darn good?

This video was incredible I have watched it a couple of times now and everything about it is great. I have my complaints as everyone does but it's a incredible video and I can tell a lot of money and time went into it. The character voices fit so well and it was a great time watching with my friend and trying find out the voices we didn't know, but they all fit the roles very well. Overall one of if not the best the video choctopus has ever made. (I know this video is kinda old now so this will probably be seen by no one but I just wanted to take my time to show my appreciatio.)

Anything that gives Hollow Knight more exposure is welcome in my book. I loved Metroid Dread as well, but you know... being a AAA title, it got a lot of advertisement and exposure by default, so it wasn't surprising to see so much content produced with that game. I'm curious how you're gonna make the future lore dump work with the personality and voice you've given to "The Knight", but I'm sure you'll be able to make it entertaining regardless. Also, after this project, I hope you're expecting yourself and everybody else involved to be asked to be featured on the Daily Silksong News channel. It's unavoidable now.
