Finished this game yesterday, its absolutly amazing i have enjoyed every moment of it, now im in a new game plus mode, a small tip for all of you guys if you want to have a better sound turn the mono mix on in the sound settings. It literally makes every little sound more noticeable

This game is as good as i remember it, but better in every single way. The things they changed from the original, (i played 1 2 and 3 in the last month or so in preparation), were needed but in the same way done so well it feels like it they were never not there. Isaac having a voice, the slight changes to the story etc are excellent Graphically, Sound design, performance...this is the best game on next gens consoles so far and its not even close. I havent noticed a single glitch, bug, stutter..nothing, incredible job by the devs. Gameplay, its dead space. Its perfect, and somehow they made it better. No loading screens and barely and cut scenes make this game hard to put down. K im gonna go back and play! Currently in chapter 2 on hard difficulty

I never played the 2008 original but man let me tell ya this game (remake) is incredible. One of my favorite survival horror games I've ever played & thats pretty much all I play. I had a blast with Callisto (despite some bad reviews) & didnt think I would like this game so much more.

Dunno if you’ve noticed, but you can actually see blood (or any type of liquid) dripping down his suit. It’s more prominent on the metal parts, but details like that are overkill but look so DANG GOOD. Fantastic remake. Hopefully the trend continues to Dead Space 2. Dead Space 3 is a lost cause 😆

makes me excited for a dead space 2 remake. imagine how much more they can add to that game. Probably add more with ellie too. Although the only thing i am not a fan of in this remake is their choice for zero g flying animation. felt better in 2 and 3. hopefully that gets reworked again especially when they have to recreate that awesome iron man moment from the intenna arrays back down to the sprawl. Again all assuming we get a remake of that one too. I hope we do.

@rcakiller Thanks, I ended up going with PS5. My TV is a decent one being a 2022 55in LG CX. I run it on performance mode and honestly it looks and feels great. I'm torn on getting Forespoken now. I played the demo and it was fun but could see how it could get stale after the halfway point.

im very curious on how they would tackle dead space 2 now playing through this. a lot of the shit brought into dead space 2 is being tackled here about reveleations about the markers and even bringing a convergence event to earth which is very dead space 3 as well heavily diving into unitology which was the what the heavy lifting of dead space 2 was about. Something the first game never did was dwelve too much into the lore that much but this is tackling a lot of shit. So if they do continue to do remakes which i hope they will i can only imagine what they would have in store of adding to dead space 2. possibly even rewriting dead space 3 entirely.

That’s DS2 though if you replay ds1 the original he never retracts the helmet he only takes it off at the end letting you know it wasn’t an advanced suit
