I am so sick of people disrespecting Holly Holm. Her legacy seems to be equated to someone elses loss to her when she has done some shit no one else has. She is a vision on her feet in a way no other woman in Bantamweight is. Her cardio is prolly one of the best in the UFC and she has to hear about Ronda fucking Rousey EVERYYYY TIME. The reality is that Holly Holm and Ronda Rousey are both hot women and that played a huge rule in Rona's fame. If she wasn't so hot, she would never have become a superstar, especially since all her fights were short and they were all arm-bars. Holly could become a superstar, even though she is not as good looking as Rousey, but most of these female fighters are simply not good looking enough to get to Rousey's level and it was always her looks that took her from an MMA star to a superstar.

UFC's women's featherweight is 145 lbs which is the same as men's boxing welterweight. Floyd Mayweather (5' 8") was the welterweight champion and fought at that weight. Shevchenko is only 5' 5". Holly is 5' 8" and her opponent, Germaine de Randamie, is 5' 9". Still, this UFC featheweight division seems a little phony. A well conditioned woman should not be the same weight as a well conditioned larger frame man who's the same height.

Its funny that Ronda now says she didn't want the holly holm fight after she got her ass licked by holm, when in fact she said in a telephone interview saying she'll fight Gina Carano , and also saying "!OH ID LOVE TO FIGHT HOLLY HOLM!". Ronda even approached holm after holm beat Pennington and told her "what a great performance! Will meet soon!" Meaning we'll have a fight pretty soon! And saying she was 100% ready to beat holm! Holly is so game she cost herself a massive payday wanting to just scrap, taking on unknown names which are very skilled like shevchenko who i reckon is top 3 in the ufc. Maybe a rousey rematch in a fight or 2, now is not the right time, but a bit harsh on ronda getting 3 beatings in a row would be rough on her. I reckon give them both very winnable fights they can hype, then a rematch would do good numbers both get a big payday the loser will probably call it a day then; the winner in the title mix again. I think holly is real bad matchup for nunes with her boxing background and nunes defence is poor she brings her hands back to her waist and her elbows are wide holly's experience and counter striking is kryptonite to that.
