I have hated Edmund since TUF with Rousey vs Miesha, but I gotta side with him man. It seems like they obviously drilled head movement, and had a great confidence in the gameplan of bobbing, weaving and using head movement, making her miss, but Ronda got stunned and didn't move her head AT ALL!. The one that beat Ronda only countered. The one that fought Schevchenko was fighting forward and getting clipped. Obviously Valentina is a wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy better striker and she forced Holly to fight moving forward. Especially when she was down in the scorecard. To Holly's credit, she did get a knockdown in the first round. She seemed gunshy in the later rounds after getting clipped repeatedly moving in though.

pitbullash Ronda was not a challenge to Holly's style but Valentina was that's the real difference there. Valentina is really great fighter and is gonna beat Juliana Pena but then I think Nunes will beat her again.Nunes just keeps improving every fight and has seperated herself from the pack.

kevin g I would have to disagree. The holly that fought Ronda was hungrier than the holly that fought Valentina. If you look at training videos and interviews she was even crying in one with how bad she wanted to win. She was ready for anything. I got my money on Juliana to beat valentina. Not to be corny but she has the eye of the tiger and she has a good win streak going.

ALL OUT I understand that Holly looked less hungry but she's been in 50+ fights, many title fights between boxing and MMA... She doesn't get complacent as u suggest. She didn't have success striking with Shevchenko and that makes a boxer look worse. Muay Thai is more rounded than boxing so Shevchanko had more weapons and was comfortable countering the boxer. And Shevchanko is better attacking from the clinch. Shevchanko is only real threat to Nunes but not much. Nunes own 135 for awhile and could probably grab 145 if she wants but down the road.
