I got to go to Studios 2 weeks ago, and I had most of my family cautiously hyped to go on RotR (we all watch the Star Wars movies). The 7am passes were snatched up in seconds, so we spent the first half of the day thinking we wouldn’t get to go. Right as I got into Dok Ondar’s, 1pm hit, and I was able to get my family’s backup passes! I still wasn’t sure we’d get to go, but I kept watching. A few minutes after we left Savi’s, we got called to go on the ride. I cannot express how blessed I feel that we got to ride it. This was my first time to Galaxy’s Edge, and I have no clue when I’ll get to go back. I guess you could say the force was with me that day 😁

I went the week of Christmas and the boarding groups sold out in less than a minute and I didn't think we were gonna get to ride it. Then I tried again at 1 in the line for star tours and got backup group 153 and didn't know if we were gonna get called but we did and it was the best ride I have ever been on even though I don't know that much about star wars lol . I really wanna watch them though. Hope you have a wonderful new year and I love you and your vlogs.

make sure the Disney Experience app is working smoothly on your phone without any problems as well as refreshing before the time they release the boarding groups! I recommend having you and every friend who has the app attempt to press your options on the 7am groups as they are slightly easier to get, 2pm is not that difficult to get however. it’s all about luck overall though. hope your party gets to ride it, it’s truly a great experience!!!

Make sure that only 1 of you tries for the boarding group; that’s why you had issues. Hope that helps for next time!

MDE instructs you to only have one member of your party attempt to get a boarding group because to the app it looks like you’re trying to book the same people multiple times and you could end up missing it completely.
