Watching this 5 days into the year was perfect! Your positivity and excitement for your goals is contagious. This year my big goal is to make my 5k and 10k pace faster, and to complete 5 triathlons of any distance. Let’s do it!!! 😊😊

Your page is one of the accounts that made it clear to me I didn't have to choose between gym and running and I could do both. I will forever be grateful for that. 2023 really has been an amazing year with so many ups and downs. 2024 hopefully will be the same. I'm hoping to finish a half marathon this year, I was supposed to do it in October but couldn't for health reasons but I'm finally getting back in it. Can't wait to see what this year brings for all of us.

Just remember with Hyrox doubles that you can switch as many times as you need. With the burpees, your partner walks directly behind you and takes over from you immediately, so you could split it into 10m blocks. It gives you a bit more rest and less fatigue. Same with rower and ski, you can do 250m blocks. You do lose some time swapping on the rower and ski erg but if it means you are less fatigued it kind of cancels out. Also make sure to train with the 1km run between because it is so much harder than you think - I’m a runner so thought the runs would be easy but they are SO hard after those exercises. You’ll be absolutely fine and it’s a great challenge even for people that train in that format all the time. Good luck! I’ll be competing in June too in Australia

I had a baby in 2023 and before baby I was a huge runner. I haven’t been able to run yet postpartum and I still have some rehab to do, but I have the goal to get back to a half marathon in 2024! It can be so hard to find time for fitness as a new mom but it’s so important! I’m glad hiking with my baby strapped to me in a carrier is something I’m already doing and eventually running with a jogging stroller with my baby is something I can do!

Love this… I am on a period recovery journey which has been long but now giving up running for a short time to try heal the last bits… hope I can get back into it soon I miss it already… my dad trail runs and I want to get out in that too it must be so refreshing and amazing… we love running ❤ excited to follow your journey this year ❤❤

I’ve done Hyrox twice. First time with a girl and second time with my boyfriend. Do not be intimated at all! Most of Hyrox is running which you’re already so good at! The weights for female doubles isn’t bad at all. You totes got this!

Running my first half marathon this year! I had one on the books last year but injured myself in another race in May unfortunately. So staying injury free is also another goal and doing it by prioritizing the strength training portion of training.

so excited to see you on this hyrox journey!! i signed up for my first one in berlin (which is 2 weeks after my first marathon (paris!!)) so i am going to be trying to balance training for both!! lots of love, thank you for being so positive and inspiring ❤❤❤

Loved this! Tips on ski - pull down hard and get back up fast! The longer the pull the more efficient. And Holly your rower tech was good but I’d hinge at the hips so really go forward almost all the way in and hinge again leaning back on the way out - again the longer the pull the more distance you’ll cover per stroke more efficiently! But tell your sis to keep it the same height all the time don’t drop it down as it goes past her knees ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I once did a day course on the ergs so just trying to be helpful ♥️♥️

Think of rowing like a deadlift! Slow, powerful pulls are going to be much more efficient than quick ones. ❤ Sprinkling in a a few CrossFit classes would help with the machines & wallballs too!

I started my marathon training this morning with a park run. Role on April, I’m so excited about running the London Marathon. My first marathon will automatically be a personal best. I love the half marathon distance. Who knows, if I enjoy London enough I might do Manchester.

I used to absolutely despise burpees but after doing them for a while I love them! A hot tip would be to bring your legs forward to the outside of your hands sort of like a frog set up. This helps with being ready to jump straight into the next one. Hopefully that helps😄

Happy new year!!! This is so exciting that you’re doing Hyrox can’t wait to see all the training! However I think for the ski try to use your back not your triceps so keep arms straight going down it might help! ❤

People run Valencia fast because, yep.. it’s the flattest marathon course in the world. You can be a faster runner.. Just set a goal time, get a decent coach, and you’ll have to run at that marathon pace. I run a 2:50 marathon but with that came with 7 runs per week over 6 days. Set your goal, set your training and maybe look at having more shoes in your rotation x

I started running a few months ago and I found it so hard to set goals for the whole year as it's so hard to predict where I'm going to be. So I made an undated list with milestones I want to achieve, and picking my specific goals monthly. I understand that that might not work if you're signed up for a race😅

Love your videos but I don’t think it’s achievable for people with full time jobs to do their longs runs on weekdays. Weekend means you can enjoy them without worry

hyrox came to australia for the first time last year and I did the single women’s event! going back for round 2 this year 👏🏼 big tip is look up the “rule” book for the exercises so you don’t waste energy with movements that don’t “count” (e.g knee has to touch floor on the lunges etc) 🫶🏻
