In terms of sleep training, I’d recommend keeping the crate in your room so he knows you’re there and using a crate cover as this keeps it darker and will help him differentiate between daytime and nighttime

Both my dogs we left to cry. First dog cried constantly for 2 weeks and then she learnt not to then the second dog took 3 days. Can depend on the breed as well

Here a tip if you get a other dog , boy dogs are more easier than girl dogs because girls have there Period so if they have it you will have to get a dog nappy.❤ If you don't get them in to the vet then your girl dog will have it again . I hope this can help you, I've seen people using it to train puppies to sit and I even used it to train my cat and worked. When you tell him to sit hold the treat over his head (keeping enough distance so he doesnt try to catch it) so he will try to stare at it and most likely will sit

Hi Holly! In terms of crate training, having them in your room means that they will be alert and have some trouble sleeping because if they hear you they will stay awake as they are sensitive to sound - and for sit, you have to keep the treat above their head where they will have to sit to reach it, once they sit, immediately reward them with a treat or pet

Not necessarily. Slowly dogs will realise it’s their bedroom too and they won’t be concerned about the owner moving. Eventually they’ll realise it’s fine and just go to sleep 😊

i would recommend leaving him with some toys to sleep with, my dog left her crate around 1 and a half years ago because of this. also maybe tuck him into his bed with a blanket to show its time for bed. hope this helps you get some sleep.

Buyed isn’t a word. That’s really bad, buying to pups from the same litter is something called littermate- syndrome. It’s where the dogs grow up to be aggressive and dangerous

I had a puppy for about 2 weeks before we had to put him for addoption but at night he slept from about 20pm until 00am and then he would start crying so what i did is that i would go to him and stay with him untill he was alseep and then i went back to my room and it worked but sometimes he would start crying again so i took him outside and he just needed a wee so mabey thats the reason if he doesnt stop crying 😊

In terms of toilet training, let him wee on the training pad, once he is done put it outside where you want him to wee and poo, he will be able to smell it and know where to go, also any accidents in the house make sure to remove the scent with him dog odour remover because he will still be able to smell the urine after you have cleaned it up so he will think its alright to go to the toilet there, hope this helps. That's how I toilet trained my GSD xx

I have that ball for my 16 week old golden Labrador pup named max we got him at 8 week old he is trained in potty training and he sits for his dinner and waits but the bad things are he attacks and bites and wees when he is excited but then he can be really loving we got him in December 7th 2023 because my 9 year old golden retriever died 15th may 2023 xx

Don’t use puppy pads it teaches the dog that it is ok to wee inside instead after every time he wakes up and after eating and then have a command like wee wee and then he should eventually get trained. And another important thing is to NOT LET HIM OUT OF THE CRATE AND CUDDLE HIM then he will cry every night to get cuddles just say like it’s ok puppy it’s ok I am here and hopefully that will help 😊

yeah Im pretty sure i said in the video that I dont want to get him too used to puppy pads and I want to train him to go outside. With the crate- I was trying out different methods, thats why I said everyone has a different way of doing it. I mentioned that I tried going down and reassuring him without getting him out but he kept crying. His crate is in my room with me now anyway. But yes I do also place him into his crate when he naps :)

People use crates for the puppies safety, dogs don’t just go to sleep at night they wonder around. Letting a puppy wonder around your house alone in the dark is very dangerous! They could chew wires, eat thing, fall down stairs! It’s not mean nor does it make the dog sad, they think of a crate as their bed and if you put a few toys in their, they’re will be very happy, next time please check your facts before commenting
