Nico just softened up to Sienna for a minute there until Sienna called Cleo. Nico felt betrayed and her dark side took over. However unlike her previous murder, even she was shocked for what she did. It was pretty clear she wanted to be with her mum and new siblings, she didn't want to be abandoned like she was with her foster parents. It was a very sad scene. She didn't think straight, she was afraid, still doesn't justify what she did but at least she regretted it this time.
