I really don’t understand the whole Ste/John Paul conversation. As far as McHay left off, John Paul said Ste was poisonous and that Harry would need God’s help to survive being in a relationship with someone as toxic as him. Not to mention that John Paul basically admitted to still being in love with Ste and jealousy spurred most of his actions (outing Starry) during Pride Week. And isn’t John Paul still angry with Harry for ruining his reputation as a teacher (certainly seemed that way when he was telling him off the other day)? Now suddenly he’s over Ste romantically and he’s the captain of the Starry ship? Who the fuck wrote this episode? And what have they done with my John Paul? I’m so confused. And could Ste be any more idiotic and selfish? What is the one thing that always gets him in trouble besides horrible life choices? HIDING THE TRUTH! Stop, just stop! John Paul has no right to tell Tony about Ste’s personal life (and I’m sure it will bite him in the ass), but it’s so frustrating watching Ste have a heart to heart with John Paul, having him indicate he’ll do the right thing and then mess everything up by staying silent yet again. And how uncalled for is it that Ste basically blames John Paul for the end of McHay? Sorry Ste, do you want a list of all the things you did to fuck up the relationship, because I can provide it sweetheart and John Paul being "too serious" was the least of your problems, in fact JP's maturity and strength is what kept you alive while you were battling addiction all those months.

(I know your comment was like ages ago BUT) I think JP is going back forth because even though he despises Ste/Harry for what they put him through, he is still a good person at heart. He cares about Ste and wants him to be happy, which he thinks could be possible with Harry if he opens up to him. And he feels bad for Harry because he knows how tough it is to come out. That's probably the reason that JP is one of my favorite characters. He always manages to do the right thing or be there for people and give advice despite whatever he's feeling or going through.

Hollyoaks is losing it. Usually a child that had witnessed a murder would be afraid with the murderer. But not here in Hollyoaks. Charlie displayed his fear initially and then became "normal" again after seeing the real murderer and felt comfortable with the murderer. Nonsense!!
