I'm glad that Romeo's family is finally aware that something is really wrong with Rayne and how she treats Romeo. And I don't think Rayne is going to be prepared for an enraged protective father James when he finds out the toxic abuse she's heaped on his son. Plus James is already testy considering his loss over Juliet and his anger over Donna Marie's drug habit. James will not hold any punches against Rayne for hurting his son.

Icl, im hella confused on how James is Romeo's dad, this whole time, i thought he was Juliet's brother which would mean he's Romeo's brother..Im so confused 🤦🏾‍♀😭 and please don't get on my case for not knowing, im only 15 and i only got into Hollyoaks within like the past year or 2 (although I've been familiar with it for many many years coz of my mum and E4), so im honestly not all caught up with the families, they confuse me so much 😭 i mean shi, until a couple weeks - a month ago, I didnt even know that Darren was Ella's dad i only found out from watching lil Hollyoaks clips on youtube recently, i didnt know Darren and Nancy arent Charlie's actual parents, i only found out after realising Ella is Darren's daughter and Charlie and Ella were in love and that would be super weird, and then u just have Maxine's flipping 5-aside team of siblings which i dont think ill ever be able to understand

If Romeo defends Rayne it's down to mental and physical abuse. He may even read some of the comments James read and feel less than a man and be too afraid to speak up.. And with Raynes mental manipulation he will be dragged right back into square one and stuck in this toxic relationship.. One he knows he needs to get out of but also refuses to do so... Its a vicious cycle.

I was over this storyline the minute Rayne turned up (haven't liked her from the second she arrived!), and the false accusations against Prince... I'm done with this storyline. Please hurry up and finish this nonsense ASAP. It's no surprise Hollyoaks ratings have been plummeting for so long now. I've watched it for over 20 years, and that's been purely out of habit now for the last 5, 6, 7 odd years or more. Also spent those years waiting for Hollyoaks to get better... 🙄

Ah, Vah! I'm so glad I'm not the only person that's been watching for so long! I usually leave the comment section feeling old! 😅 It's been routine, watching Hollyoaks every day for more than 20 years, it's the only reason I'm still watching it at the moment. I can't cope with messing up my routine 😂 I do agree there Chelsey, it's important to show that men can be victims to women through emotional/mental abuse/manipulation, looks like we're headed down physical abuse storyline, that's important too, but the storylines, the scripts, the acting... It's just utter dog poop, and has been for a while. The storylines are either way too wacky (I was so sick of Silas I was close to changing my routine and never watching Hollyoaks again! He had better stay dead now! 😂) and unrealistic, or beyond basic and basically just "filler" material, destroying once great characters (like Bobby) or killing them off out of nowhere (usually because of on-set drama!), or actually a really good storyline but the actors are just unbelievable and don't have the skill... I find "Romeo" one of the worst actors most of the time. "Rayne" is an even worse actor, they are "cringe" to watch in general. They do a disservice to the real stories of real people with this cheesy trash they're pumping out. I hope one day (the sooner the better too!) Hollyoaks gets back on track, and back to the higher calibre that made them so good... How long ago that feels 🥴😅

Oh my OA Romeo seems to be seeing sense all of a sudden from Rayne.
