Another confrontation was when Maureen Bauer played by Ellen Parker found out her best friend Lillian slept with her Husband Dr. Ed Bauer. She was so brilliant that she won a Daytime Emmy (America's Highest Honor). Her character died in a car crash in 1992 and only 17 years later before the show ended that Lillian went to the Gravesite and apologized. Some fans feel the show went downhill after that.

It kind of parallels Dr. Rick Bauer & Phillip Spaulding on Guiding Light that was played by Grant Aleksander and Michael O'Leary on and off from 1983-2009. They meet at PRivate School and then go home for Senior Year. Rick takes Beth Raines to The Prom, and she and Phillip become KIng & Queen Of The Prom Class of 1983. Phillip then sleeps with Rick's Fiancee Meredith, she gets pregnant loses the Baby and Rick washes his hands of him. They don't talk to each other for Five Years 1990-1995 and once again Phillip hurts Rick this time asking him to cover the fact that he is dead although he isn't. 1995-2004 Phillip is "dead". Their secret is discovered and as a result Phillip's Bio Uncle Ross dies in a Plane Crash to find Phillip and pleads with him to come home. Someone like Mandy you can't trust around your Husband. She's a Grade A Homewrecker.

I want Nancy to find a man worthy of her because as much as I used to give Darren free rein, he is so far beneath her now, he’s basically garbage. Darren was dealing with a wife with MS. Mandy was dealing with a husband with Alcohol Addiction. They met up with each other and everything was free and easy, no worries, no stress and no mundane life stuff. They are in love with the Idea of a fun, stress free life. Together they didn't have to worry about bills, mortgages, early morning school runs or who was going to make dinner that night. Now they are together and real life is going to hit, they will come crashing to earth. Well, I hope anyway. I hate them both. I used to LOVE Darren. Nope, not anymore.

I did at one point feel sorry for Mandy because of all the trouble luke first gave her and the lies he told .But luke clean up his act and got together in the it took sometime but luke did it . This hole storyline from star till now has mad me so uncomfortable and I don't buy this is true love act between Mandy and Darren it was lust from start to finish. And Mandy has become a really unpleasant character and so selfish out of it all . Has she even gave two thoughts to her daughter Ellie who thinks of luke as her father or what Ollie most be going through no oh and wait what about Darren kids no . Let's face if Mandy hadn't of made the first move this week on Darren by kissing him in his emotional distress of nancy rejection him they wouldn't be . So screw Mandy and I'm sorry the actress who plays her Sarah Darren and Mandy are not popular and nobody has really liked this storyline and it will always be dancy in the fans hearts so please don't get blind side . I still hate to say I still want dancy together again they fit each other perfect and Ashley Taylor Dawson and Jessica fox are a great team and great pleasure to watch . I'm mad at Darren all right and yes nancy deserve better at this point . Can I just say last week Ashley Jessica Cary Sarah brilliant job last week true Gredit to your acting CRAFT

Time 3:08PM Fri 9/27/18 Folababy Iam not on neither team for both characters. However what Mandy did was wrong. Part of the girlfriend code is you never have sex with your girlfriend's husband no matter how hot he is. But Darren & Mandy a couple? The question for that answer is HELL NO. Darren would do the same thing to Mandy like he did to Nancy. Making Darren & Mandy a couple is a bad idea for the writers part. But Nancy needs a new love interest. Will Mandy & Nancy be friends again? Maybe not.
