There are many possibilites really. It's gonna be another "Who shot Mercedes" kind of thing but "Who killed/beat up George?" I think it'd give Dean, Sally and Cher more depth if it were them. They might make Cher a mini-Breda. Maybe it could be a possible return for Craig (I ship McDean). I doubt Mercedes is violent though. I haven't seen Cher actually side with John-Paul or Goldie yet so I doubt her. Sylver and Goldie are AWOL at this point. The shadow/sillhouette looked as if it were Theresa's. But the main options are prob Ste, James, Theresa, Cher, Mercedes, Sally and Dean, but I expect something wild.

I think that the Hollyoaks writers cut this storyline short because the actor who played George, Callum Kerr got tested positive for covid19 and needed to self-isolate. I heard that this storyline was originally supposed to go until October.

He always proves himself to be such a polished technician within his scenes. Even his articulations of dialogue, provide indelible nuance. The abuse with jp didn’t seem to go on for very long because everyone different week there was a new storyline happening with different characters it all of a sudden just got worse, but with coronation street it happened in stages and it was so realistic, in hollyoaks it just wasn’t the same

Judging by what George did, and his motivations or triggers to do it, he was a complete psychopath in some scenes - and a victim of past abuse using abusing others as a tool to block out unpleasant emotions that reminded him of his own abuse in others. The two different types of abusers don`t cross over into each other - it is either the one, or the other. But Hollyoaks tried to sell us a version with both wrapped as one. To me that makes the story just as weird as if James should have parked his Audi on the pond, or Tony served rocks instead of potatoes in the restaurant.

If it were JP, Sally or Dean he would've had more of a reaction. But the main 9 suspects are Dean, James, Ste, JP, Theresa, Cher, Mercy, Sally and Nancy. Nancy went to buy some alcohol I believe, James was protecting Ste from George (which makes me sus James), JP was at Nancy's but must've gone somewhere (couldve been the bathroom or something), Cher left when JP said he was on the verge of death at that time (makes her look sus), Theresa and Mercedes left together (so maybe it's not them?) and Sally never left so generally James, Dean and Cher are the most likely to have killed George.
