All Things Producing: Ask The Pros: Getting a story to the screen, big or small, requires a unique combination of passion, imagination, and commercial savvy, all banked on a tenuous marriage between your own creative instincts and the tastes of the marketplace. How do working producers strive to find the sweet spot where innovative storytelling overlaps with popular appeal? And how do they work to keep the necessary “heat” under a project as it slowly (oh, so slowly…) comes together? Perhaps above all, how does a producer working in today’s marketplace work to finally turn a “no” - or a series of them - into a “yes”? Bring your best questions about the job of producing, and join the conversation!

If you want to REALLY get a heads up about the industry "On My Way to Hollywood" is a book that sheds light on the business side and the madness and walks you through the tactics used by sexual predators. It is a MUST for anyone who wants to peek into that world......especially if you know someone who wants a career in entertainment. GET THAT BOOK!

You have a very successful film industry in India. Why not start there. If successful you could probably transfer to Hollywood based on your credentials.

All I can say is I write screenplays on the side as a hobby because making a living as a acreenwriter is very, very, very hard. I know how to even produce a movie, but just don't have the money to make a movie and pay the cast and crew. Hollywood film industry is a scam. I am not going to kiss nobody's a** for them to read my script or I'm not going to kiss there a** to try to get to know film producers or anyone in the Hollywood film industry. F**k all of them. I don't have to be a millionaire to survive I got a good job. Besides when I'm dead and gone I want be a screenwriter anymore, I want be a filmmaker anymore, and I can't take the money with me when I die. All I can say to you is Good luck because all those people in Hollywood film industry are some nasty people. So if you're really trying to fit in with them make sure you have thick skin because they will chew you up and spit you out if you send a script to them and no one knows you.

I am American and I am a US citizen and I'm going to tell you the truth. Hollywood California film industry is very nasty. I live in Florida and when I was trying to get to know the film industry in Hollywood they were so nasty. I called Mexico film industry and they had more respect for me than my american country did. They whole vibe was so down to earth, unlike my own American people they treated me like sh*t.
