Blizzard really really needs to fix the throwing problem. Too many games have people trying to throw. They need to give you a way to just de-rank or do placements again, or just play with your friends at any rank...

Not sure what they can really do honestly. I report people who are throwing in the griefing category but I feel like the game needs a detection system to see if people are deliberately making troll plays or picks or just bad.

But you have to think of the logical implications of what you're asking for. If people can de-rank themselves automatically, there would be absolutely no balance and trolling would be 100 times worse than it is now. If you can play with friends at any rank, again, there would be no matchmaking and completely unbalanced games. Yes, people throwing to de-rank is a problem, but there isn't a simple answer, as much as people like to complain that it's so easy to fix. Really, all you can do is report those who throw. The solutions you ask for would cause things worse than the problem its trying to fix

Czarewich de ranking is as much of a problem as throwing. When you throw you ruin the game for 5 randoms that got matched with you. When you play on a de ranked account you ruin the game for the 6 against you. If you want to play with your friends that arent the same rank as you go arcade or quickplay and stop ruining the competitive queue

Gil S. Well that is a thing. Seagull is a PRO player and has the mechanical skill and game sense that can let him play off-meta characters without seriously gimping his team. His experience isn't the same for us scrubby pub players. But of course exceptions will happen to. If someone is leagues better in performing an off-meta pick like Widow or Junkrat then go ahead. I'd rather let them play in something they're comfortable than force them into a character they can't do well in even if they are meta. Don't kiss the meta's ass and stick to it like glue, that is definitely true but it is also the meta for a reason. You would want to give you and your team the best chance at winning. Off-meta picks are risky but if you choose that pick then please reassure your team mates that you have a general game plan and know what you're doing and will switch if things go south rather than staying quiet in team chat. (I'm speaking in general since this is what most people have a problem with with off-meta pickers from what I've seen)

You really only get cooperative people in at least high gold, if not plat. If you're lower than that I'd say play with a friend or two, but once you're above 2000 SR keep doing solo q because it's just more efficient for earning SR.

in game ctrl-shift-n i think, note the ip adres of the server. open command prompt and do a "pathping x.x.x.x" see which hops are giving you problems, good chance something with your provider is wrong.
