I liked the hangout sections more than (or just as much as) the story moments. BA1 is one of my favourite first watches of 2024 so far and will likely make my end of year list and video.

If you like baby assassins, i think you should check out the High & Low series. It's got great action and I think the action choreographer from baby assassins also worked on High & Low.

ah, yes! highly recommended!! great action series/films! (and music) My faves are the Oya High and the Rude Boys gangs! I wish there could be more H&L...

@@Ash081284 hell yea! H&L is like a breath of fresh air for me because of how different the fight scenes look compared to Hollywood. It’s very gritty and rugged but they also incorporate martial arts and agility. My favorite gangs are rude boys and hoodlum squad. Seeing the rude boys do parkour and mixing it with martial arts is so fucking cool! Same here I hope they make more. I can’t get enough!

@@somemysteriousguy7114 true! Rude Boys are lit!! especially their introduction episode where they were passing the bag while doing parkour in that unfinished building, that was fun and cool! As for Oya High, that fight with Murayama vs Todoroki was awesome and raw ^_^ kinda reminds me of the final fight choreo in Baby Assassins 1 Also their rematch in the 1st spinoff film was cool and fun too Great character growth with Murayama I enjoyed the spinoff films as well (crossover with CROWS and WORST) man, such enjoyable series/films! I wish a lot more people would discover them

@@Ash081284 that was fucking epic! The parkour jumps gave me goosebumps and the theme song run this town playing in the background too! Smokey was one of my favorite characters, sadly they had to kill him off. I like murayama too and his character development. The fight vs todoroki was great! I like the spin-off a lot but I wish they bring back the OG sword crew like cobra and everyone. The mighty warriors are still out there and after the Kiryu group got exposed Ryu from the mighty warriors took over right? So maybe they can be the antagonists. I wish they were more popular in the us too. Idk why they’re not, I feel like people who love anime because they throw hands would love H&L

I love this movie so much. Chisato is so funny and the action is too good. I want the 3rd movie so bad :(

Much as I love these two films, sry dude One Percenter's action is leaps and bounds ahead of these films, the final fight in that is one of the best fights I've seen this year.

I'll definitely watch it, and likely review it, too. I admit, I was only making assumptions based on the trailer. It seemed like the classic protagonist who can predict his opponents moves, rather than reflexively reacting, which is more realistic. In Baby Assassins they trip, stumble, get badly beat up, etc. They're mostly using reflexes and muscle memory than fancy planned moves. One Percenter trailer seemed like he could dodge/predict every move perfectly and have a choreographed response. I'm looking forward to seeing the full film, and making a better assessment.

@@SuperRandomJapan He does pretty much predict and perform ultra-efficiently but not only does it work in tandem with that film's story and theme of perfecting one's martial arts style, but the reason the final fight is so great is because he finally goes up against an opponent who is equally as good as him in a completely different martial art that forces him to adapt and change on the fly and where Baby Assassins has a really loose and street-fighting based fighting style, One Percenter's finale is all about opposing forces of equal ability clashing to see who's the best at what they do, and the lighting is so good in that scene it casts them as almost mythic figures duking it out on-screen, in other words, YOU GOTTA SEE IT !
