I would feel Honored to be in that audience, as this magical confluence of energies and brilliance came together to be presented. There are notable faces within the audience that seem like they are uncomfortable, or just there because their rich family demanded they be at their seat. Sad, truly. The elites of the planet are quite afraid of the Power of Human Love.

Disney concerts are usually pretty good (around 7/10-8/10) but they really knocked this one out of the park. Even being in the orchestra this concert was emotionally exhausting. i grew up with these songs & was even tearing up as i played. The lucky people who were in the audience will never forget this night. I work with Alan at Disney & it is a absolute honour to do so. No one deserves that award more than he does. Congrats my friend. We will catch up once i get back from Australia.

Which instrument did you play in this fantastic orchestra? Can you tell if it was difficult to play the scores? Did the melodies flash you back to your childhood as they did to me?
@helpstopanimalabuse81539 ай бұрын
I played drums. I was emotionally exhausted by the end of the concert. I grew up with these songs as a child (In Australia) & remember going to the cinema to watch the Little Shop Of Horrors. When the piano started to play the intro to Suddenly Seymour tears just started to flow. This will probably sound silly but hearing the music resonated with me & it was like being launched back to the 1970-1980's & reliving my childhood again. It's incredible that a generally cult figure show can still bring people & their memories together after 40 years. I am employed by Disney to play in their major motion pictures & Alan's music is beautiful. We were lucky to have a very good bunch of musicians in the orchestra that night.@@moow950

I'm in love with this concert and with the solists too! I wish Eleanor Grant, who sang 'Part of your World', would have sung 'I See The Light' as well though. Celinde is an amazing singer, but in this song she's constantly going back and forth from chest (loud and brassy) to head voice (almost operatic), which makes it almost sound like she's struggling or as if she's not sure which singing technique to use. For this song you need a more fluid voice, like Eleanor Grant's.

I loved the drummer on the left during under the sea, clearly just enjoying himself and not just pretending to. A great music is always both nice to hear and play 😄 I always thought this musical number was too short as a kid haha

Einfach wundervoll! ❤

Absolutely gorgeous and heart-touching performance. Color of the Wind is one of the most beautiful songs ever written; performed to perfection; however, then comes Eleanor Grant with the voice of an angel. 😊There are just no words!😌

Thank you soooooooooo much for uploading this. Omg they played Sanctuary from Hunchback?! As a composer, it's the most incredible piece of music I've ever heard. Why didn't I just book a flight to Vienna to see this - I regret it so much! Must have been one the greatest musical evenings a person can experience.
@belovedpeartree Жыл бұрын
I agree. Watching this concert makes everyone regret not being able to see it in person. As a former orchestra player, I can tell when I missed something really good. The tickets aren't even that expensive. Some things are worth the money many times over. This concert is one of them. Worth much more than the actual monetary value.

I'm a huge fan of musicals and Disney music, so I wasn't even aware of this concert makes me crying in front of my Apple Studio Display screen right now...BUT I'm glad somebody uploaded this so I didn't really miss it completely! LOVE DISNEY FOR ITS AWESOME MUSIC!

Interesting how Drew Sarich was part of the concert, but didn't sing anything from Hunchback, especially when you consider the fact that he played Quasimodo in the 1999 Berlin production

I'm just really happy they managed to have Home of the Range considering how forgotten the film is. Just hope they also included Enchanted, anyways, still a very beautiful edition of Hollywood in Vienna.

Enchanted was also in the concert, but they didn't show it on TV. They played one song from Sister Act too.
