Fascinating video, Let's stop taking relationship and family for granted. I have battled depression since my wife left me. I have tried all I can to make her see that I love her with everything I am made of but she has insisted on leaving. This has made me so empty, and I do not know what to do. I can barely function properly at work. I am frustrated and miserable. I really miss her.

Your pain resonates with me. Letting go of someone dear to your heart is an immense challenge. I found myself in a comparable situation when my 12-year-long relationship ended, and I struggled to accept it. Despite my efforts to reconcile, I eventually turned to a spiritual counsellor for guidance, which eventually led to a reunion. I'm now filled with joy

I'm keen on meeting the counsellor you're talking about. What steps should I take?

Your voice is mesmerizing! I love your videos because I love old movies and the stars lives and you do an outstanding job. My mother used to tell me stuff about stars and she loved movies, too. I appreciate when people care enough to research their stories. Your videos are a delight. Keep it up, please! Thank you!

A moving story about Howard: at the end of his marriage to Slim, he knew she had fallen in love with Leland Hayward. Leland had been hospitalized and was near death. Howard walked in on Slim having a phone conversation about Leland. When Slim saw Howard walk in the room she hung up. Howard said softly, "is he going to be ok?" Slim shook her head yes, and Howard said "good." He turned and left the room.

Thanks for another interesting biography of these Hollywood characters. Just wondering why Howard's only child w/Slim, a daughter Kitty, was left out? She looks like him, and I believe is still alive. Looking forward to your next biography.

Thanks for listening. Some things do end up being left out (otherwise the videos would be 3 hours long!) But you're right she was worth mentioning for sure.

Had no idea Norma Shearer has a sister. Knew about her brother and his career. She never made another movie after, We Were Dancing in 1942. Heard she also ended up in a mental institution. Just found this wonderful channel.

@@ivanconnolly7332 According to Wikipedia, Daktari was based on the movie Clarence, the Cross-eyed Lion. It was a family-oriented series featuring a veterinarian, his family, and a lion who really did have eyes that were crossed. The producer, Ivan Tors, also was inspired by a husband and wife team who had a great interest in the care of animals in Nairobi and opened an animal orphanage.
