The thing I love MOST about these packs is the education I get from them. I could study the orchestration and mixing of them for HOURS. Thanks East West.

This is a good point. I don't have orchestrator but would lobe to be able to study them in detail too in order to master the individual orchestrations myself.

Awesome. I always need some added inspiration for comedic themes. These orchestrator videos are so good!

If I had the job of composing for a Comedy, this certainly seems like the best tool on the market, and revolutionizes the process.

This is EXTREMELY valuable and educational for all of us who struggle to decode the orchestral language we've learnt to love as film watchers. Thanks a lot EW and Ryan for continually expanding the preset collection for Orchestrator!!

Romcom 03 the one you say has a “walking” feel, to me, feels more like when someone is going through someone’s mail or phone before the other person gets back trying to not get caught while looking for something.

Thanks for the new presets! I am excited for the day when I can set the default reverb for every loaded preset/patch of the orchestrator.Maybe it comes something like a quick mixing preset as well (close, distant)

Okay, so if you're lucky enough to be scoring a movie then you will probably write ffrom scratch *BUT* how many tracks get written based of a synth preset or drum loop? This is a great idea for roughing out scores fast! I want! :D

I would love to know who used one of these presets in a movie, and even more to watch a tutorial

What scales or mods are the best for this kind of music?
@auralaxiom2 жыл бұрын
It really just depends on the preset; I'd recommend playing around with them and experimenting to see what works best for each one.

You need to make sure you have the latest version of all sections of Hollywood Orchestra Opus Edition, Hollywood Orchestrator and Opus. Then you'll find these new comedy presets under the Scores category in Hollywood Orchestrator.
