Especially considering how much more relaxed the atmosphere was compared to the later versions that he wouldn't find appropriate, especially since the audience would just go rowdy simply everytime a stars' name was called, making it feel more like a pep rally.

Look at the set from 20:45 to 20:55. Same stars, different seating. At 20:56 it switches back to the set for this program. What reason could the editors have for switching in a segment from a different taping?

How the mighty fall! 1968, they're giving away Pontiac Firebirds. 1969, an AMC Javelin. 1973, a Chevy Vega. 1976, a fucking Datsun.

The chevy vega was rock bottom even before the datsun. A rust bucket prone to gas tank fires and melting engines.

Those Maytag washers were extremely well built in the 70's. My mom kept hers for 30 years. The eustachian tube is in the ear not the nose. Peter muffed that one.

Demond Wilson is super-knowledgeable. Too bad she assumed otherwise.
@MichaelSimmons.5 жыл бұрын
The fact that he took so long to answer, and had previously said it was not what turned out to be the correct answer, probably made her think he was just guessing.
@yankee2666 Жыл бұрын
How do you know he's 'super-knowledgeable' or that 'she assumed otherwise'?
@TheWriterWalker Жыл бұрын
@yankee2666 I know he's super -knowledgeable because I know a little something about his personal life. And if she were armed with that knowledge, she might not have made every other selection of personality in the squares instead of making an obvious choice, and then she would have trusted his answer.

Those Datsun's were good cars you rarely see them today as they were driven to death. I did see one restored not long ago it was gorgeous. Probably get's better mileage than all the ugly plastic Challengers and Camaros with V8's these days

'Scusé? You see Datsuns all over the place today--and you always have. They just changed the brand name to NISSAN about 30 years ago. (There are actually people who still don't know this? Wow. Wonder if they know that Hitler's brother-in-law is gonna be POTUS for at least 3 more years...)
