I always wonder if artists know the impact their songs have on their fans. This brings to mind years ago when I was a child in a broken home. I would sit in my room and listen to Eminem. I remember hearing Sing for the Moment: "Or for anyone who's ever been through shit in they lives So they sit and they cry at night, wishing they'd die 'Til they throw on a rap record, and they sit and they vibe We're nothing to you, but we're the fuckin' shit in their eyes" It always helped me remember that all that bullshit was temporary and I could make something of myself if I could endure it. I did endure, and I did make something of myself. I hope all artists know they have that power. "Believe" is hitting a similar chord now, all these years later. There's something good left in me, somewhere, and I hope everyone that hears this realizes that there's good in them, too. Find that shit, and use it to help people.

Guys, I had some depressions too and it wasn't easy for me, because my grandfathers died, my girlfriend left me and I was on an bad school, but not everything is lost, even when it seems like it is. "You know I'm gonna fight though I might be scared to lose." I'm fighting for my life. And I'm scared of losing my life. I have tried cutting multiple times, but could never bring myself to it. "You took me in and I fucked it up again." No matter what people do for me, I feel like I'll just fuck it up either way, and they'll hate me for that simple fuck up. "Nobody can fix me if I'm part of the problem." Once I get down, no one can fix me. I'm just down in my sad world, and only I can fix myself.
