One of the big issues with your headphone reviews is that you don't try them on in the videos, and you dont expand on comfort, force of compression, fitment of ear, etc. Even if people have different head and ear sizes, this is one of the most important factors when buying headset. Just a point for ya

+Tk Hsu I can only, of course, comment on headphones I've tried myself. I haven't tried those other two so can't really help there... These are decent inexpensive headphones. The MEElectronics and the Golzer brands I've reviewed are definitely better, but also more expensive.

Are you confident that the headband won't break? I have snapped 2 headbands with those 'Bluedio' headphones! For the price, they sound awesome, but the headband is made of the cheapest plastic ever! I'm considering these and hope the durability is TOUGH.

Unfortunately, don't have those to compare or review. But I will say that I think MEElectronics are the best affordable BT Headphones on the market. They make good quality headphones!

Danny B. Pretty loud at the highest level. Bass is not gonna be Beats quality but is still good. Overall, I'd probably recommend the Meelectronics as better quality though. I reviewed one of theirs here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4PFdX5vpa94iJI

I have been using wired in ear headphones Sony XB30EX for a couple of years. Due to wear and tear, I am planning to upgrade and looking something in wireless section which can match the sound quality. How do these compare to Sony MDR-XB650BT in terms of sound quality only ? If you have any other model in mind. Please let me know. My budget is around $100$.
@hollywoodfrodo
@hollywoodfrodo 8 жыл бұрын
For around $100, you can do better... Of the several I've tested reviewed, I'd recommend the Golzer Banc-70 if you think you'd make use of the Noise Cancellation feature (GREAT for flying) or the MEElectronics Matrix2 if you don't think you'd use noise cancellation. You search youtube for hollywoodfrodo plus the name of either of those to find my detailed review of each ones. Both of these also have the option for wired connection if needed or if the rechargeable battery dies. (But both have very long lasting battery so you may never use that.)

How does these compare to Avantree Hive and Sacool in terms of sound quality. I've been extremely disappointed with these two as high notes are almost completely absent both on Hive and Sacool. Working up my courage to buy Audition...
@hollywoodfrodo
@hollywoodfrodo 10 жыл бұрын
Would probably recommend MEElectronics as better overall quality and better interface with phone/tablet. If you can afford them, the Matrix I reviewed are best: kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4PFdX5vpa94iJI IF not, then go for their Venture model which is about the same price as the Avantree Audition. Doesn't have NFC, but has everything else and I believe better overall sound and functionality: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CZ54VVM/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00CZ54VVM&linkCode=as2&tag=hollywoodfrod-20

Another question please... Can I charge this with a 3.0 hub safely? thanks for help
@hollywoodfrodo
@hollywoodfrodo 9 жыл бұрын
Purple Rain I don't see why not. The only issue would be if you have a usb hub that is data only (no power) then it wouldn't charge obviously, but these days most hubs support power and data.
@dylancarias
@dylancarias 9 жыл бұрын
Cause I've heard that some usb hubs tends to lessen the lifespan of the headphones....? What's your experience.....
@hollywoodfrodo
@hollywoodfrodo 9 жыл бұрын
Purple Rain Possibly because they are reliant on rechargeable batteries which do have a limited lifespan. I honestly don't know enough about it nor have I tested/experienced it enough to say if that's a real concern. I personally use whatever micro usb cable is plugged in and closest to me to charge my headphones whether that's a phone charge plugged into the wall or a cable plugged into my pc.

I haven't used/tested the H850 so I can specifically speak to them though they seem like nice headphones. However, that price range, I'd probably suggest considering MEElectronics Matrix2 Headphones: kzbin.info/www/bejne/rZanmoRunK5kn5I

an you connect this to mac, and how if yes is the answer.... thanks
@hollywoodfrodo
@hollywoodfrodo 10 жыл бұрын
Yes - the same way you would any other BlueTooth headphones. Not sure how that works on the Mac side. As for the headphones, you hold down the power (center) button until the led flashes red/blue to put it into pairing mode. On the mac, you'd probably just go to your bluetooth devices settings and look for the headphones and select them to pair.

@hollywoodfrodo

Dylan Carias You turn it off by long pressing the center button. I believe it makes a long beep sound before shutting down. Don't leave it on if you'r not using it - the battery will drain out.

+hollywoodfrodo Tnx for the comment, but i don't really like earbuds. They may be really compact but I'm not a fan of them so I need sth bigger to cover my whole ear. Due to that I already ordered the Avantree audition. I will use them mostly for walking around with them rather than to use them as main gym headset. Keep up the good videos :)

Hello, urges the Avantree Audition Bluetooth 4.0 headphones sound outside, I would like to disturb no people on the bus or train :)
@hollywoodfrodo
@hollywoodfrodo 9 жыл бұрын
Leslie Meyer At the higher volume levels there is some sound bleed from these. I mean, it's very low like hearing a radio "in the distance", but in a quiet atmosphere people around you would definitely be able to hear your music. In a louder environment (bus/train), it might not be as noticeable, but I wouldn't consider these to be extremely quiet - sound definitely escapes through to the outside.

+Bob S Yeah, this was a lengthy video... I can't honestly say I've tested them specifically for latency. I really only used them for music. The MEElectronics and Golzer headphones I've reviewed are great for that as they are higher end more expensive headphones. amzn.to/1lG1fUh amzn.to/1lG1j6j amzn.to/22XYizy

These headphones have a noticeable 1-sec delay when watching video which renders them useless for that purpose. Sure, they sound good and fit OK, but for YT, movies or TV, forget it. They even have a habit of dropping out when trying to watch a YT video. Ironically, including this one.

I had these headphones for a couple of days, then I returned them. Not very good Pro : really confortable,good range, nice looks, very good battery, very easy connectivity Cons : The volume is lower on cable than on BT? Why didnt anyone told this before? On BT the volume is OK, it coud be a bit higher but is OK, but on cable the volume is like 25% lower, a really bad thing as far as I'm concerned Also, the sound is king of average, I expected more from them. another problem with my headphones was that the left earpiece had bass, but the right one did not. I cant would advise everyone not to buy these, or at least dont order online, listen first!
@hollywoodfrodo
@hollywoodfrodo 9 жыл бұрын
When you listen using the cord (which would be considered a secondary purpose since really these are meant to mostly be used wirelessly) the volume level will be completely controlled by the sound source such as your phone or tablet.
