My father, when he was a very little boy was on the same ship as Gloria Swanson and Old Joe Kennedy sailing from the States to France in the 30s, and she patted him on the head and commented how cute he was! He always pretended the story wasn't exciting, but he never stopped telling it, and I love it. For the record, he was a very cute little boy and Papa. :)

Mr. Dark, I have to tell you; your videos are the best written, produced, narrated, researched, filmed, and presented on KZbin. I can't imagine all the work you put into your videos, and the passion you have for them clearly show in each one you upload. I don't think a "thank you" quite covers it for me as I watch your work here. However, that's the best I can do down here in the comments section. And so, thank you very much for all your hard work on our behalf to show us our favorite celebrities final resting places. You, Sir, deserve awards and recognition for your work!

Besides being clear and understandable, his voice is also calm/calming and just deep enough to give a respectful and somber quality to the narrative. All and all, everything is well done here! Also, because there are just so many channels to follow, I have opted to not receive push notifications for new content, I have 3 exceptions, this channel, Ask A Mortician, and a painting channel I really enjoy!!! Hi Helane! I too have struggled with the fear of death and dying. There is a fantastic KZbin channel that has really helped me to overcome a lot of it. It's called Ask a Mortician and it's run by a delightful lady named Caitlin Doughty. She and several people who work in the funeral industry have started a movement called The Order of the Good Death, and she strives to demystify death by being very open and candid about American death traditions and explaining different cultures and how they view death. She also has 2 fantastic books out that really capture her warmth and humor. If you haven't already, I definitely recommend checking out her channel!💖

A lot of thanks to Mr. Arthur Dark and Hollywood Graveyard channel. This has become my favorite KZbin channel. I love to watch it especially in this season of the All Souls Day. I always wanted to pay visits to my favorite dead stars in Hollywood. This channel has become my free access pass to the so-called the "Beverly Hills" of the afterlife! I pity about the grave of Montgomery Clift who was buried in a Quaker cemetery in Prospect Park Brooklyn. Why such a great Hollywood property and legendary American actor and whose not a Quaker in the first place be entombed in such an old shabby aloof cemetery? The late Monty's mom was the only Quaker and she should have at least gave her celebrity son an honorable and decent final resting place that he truly deserves. I love Montgomery Clift and I have a terrible crush on him! If only I'm rich and influential, I'm going to create a movement project in honor of Montgomery Clift to be reentombed somehow in Forest Lawn Glendale or in Westwood CA. He was no ordinary actor and Holywood star for me in my opinion. Rest in peace my love Monty! ❤️❤️❤️✝️✝️✝️

Thank you, for visiting Dudley Moore. He died from complications due to Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. A Parkinsonian like disease, (they're often described as cousins). Often times due to the nature of his roles people wrote him off as an alcoholic, and any news reports of a hospitalization or fall were attributed to his alcoholism. When in fact it was this horrible disease. It is also known as Dudley Moore's Disease, as his was the most famous case. My grandfather was diagnosed with it in 2003. Sadly I knew of it before his diagnosis, just not the extent of its evil. Thank you again, so very much. This was an awesome video. 'N who doesn't love a cemetary kitty? 💜

He would scream from severe muscle spasms, he lost his speech, his eye sight, couldn't feed himself, couldn't stand or walk, it did something to his weight. He was rightfully a 185 pound guy he was tall n built nice. When he died he weighed 85 pounds. Just bones n skin. He died slow 6 days. He was still alive n his skin was turning black. UGLY UGLY DISEASE!! N you know what was really rotten?? Through all the deterioration, right to the end, his brain was solid. He knew what was going on, you could ask him a question n he could raise his thumb up or down for yes or no. Clear brain, but a broken body.

Congratulations from Brazil. I finally find a good Channel that shows the final places of 2 of my favorites actresses (Bette Davis and Lillian Gish). Thank you!

Arthur, you are a pro. Sunset Boulevard clip was good as were all your clips of old movies to familiarize us with the oldies. Hope you took kitty home....such a pretty face. Kitty was waiting for you. I have not seen your work till today and I'm so impressed with your camera work and overall presentation of high quality.

Thank you for honoring John Lennon in this video. It means a lot that even though he was taken so violently, he is remembered so fondly. 🙏

I've missed you terribly Mr. Dark!!!! I kept checking to see if there was any information about what you are up to! I was in severe withdraw and truly worried as I suffered a long period of time without you!

Wow, your videos have the quality that I used to be able to find on tv back in the day before everything became “reality tv”. Living in Ct, I’ve been in NYC many times, but had no idea there were so many historical figures I could visit. Thanks for taking us along, and I’m so looking forward to the rest of the visit!
